Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman called on the international community to pressure Iran economically and politically with regards tothe nuclear agreement to avoid a direct military confrontation in the region during an interview with The Wall Street Journal on Friday.

“Sanctions will create more pressure on the Iranian regime,” the Saudi Crown Prince said, explaining that efforts must be made to avoid a military conflict in the region caused by Iran.
Iran has supplied the Houthi militia in Yemen with weapons used against Saudi Arabia over the past three years, the crown prince explained during the interview.

Since the war in Yemen began, the Houthi militia group fired several ballistic missiles into Saudi Arabia.

However, the crown prince stated that these attacks were “evidence of weakness”.
Meanwhile in response to a question on Saudi Arabia’s intervention, the crown prince said: “Yemen was about to get split between the Houthis and Al-Qaeda if we had not intervened in 2015.

I am afraid we might be instigated by the World’s powers into a war scenario. Our Crown Prince seems like he has the same level of hatred, and anti-Persian feeling as Saddam. These 2 factors combined could make the war scenario a closer reality than what we think.

It is not in their overall economic interests to instigate a war in the Middle East..and at the same time it is in the interest of their militaro-industrial complexes.. it is a real challenge to their own minds to instigate a war there or not..

What we know for sure is that it is a Usraeli and its Western friends' wet dream to see a war between Iran and KSA, which will allow to hit two birds with one stone at the same time..instead of itself and its Western supporters confronting Iran..

MBS is not hateful..He is very rational and pragmatic.. and the context is very different with Saddam's Iraq then.. at least on geostrategic positions..KSA and Iran do not share any land borders.. Hatred against Arabs mainly by Persians was shown clearly in Iraq, Syria and Yemen.. to the contrary of what others might think..

In London for example, most local experts assert that Iran wants war at this particular time because it is the most suitable for it under the global polarization, but it does not want to start the war so that it can bring China and Russia into the equation as a final wall if international parties intervene, and these analysis are quite convincing..

Iranian FM Zarif in Berlin security conference was promoting a security pact between gulf countries (incl. Iran) that would ensure security for all parties and prevent hegemony by any state. Setting aside if such arrangement is even possible but would something like this be acceptable for Saudi Arabia? Or do you think isolation of Iran is The objective for Saudi Arabia?

The objective of Saudi Arabia is for Iran to terminate its interventions in neighbouring Arab states in general and the GCC in particular.. If Iran stops these interventions in the other states' internal affairs.. all doors will be open to genuine peace and security for all parties of the region..including Iran ..obviously..

The clown first threat iran then he go to his western masters to cry and beg them to stop iran

I have question to the clown prince if you go cry and beg the west to stop iran then why you are barking at them to began with if you can't bite?!
