President Trump launches military strike against the Al-Assad regime

You're an idiot, and I didn't understand your blabbering. This verse is talking about a specific event in history, where Allah favors the Romans over the persians. Absolute divine superiority, and I'm not surprised since persians are morally inferior to the Romans. And we can see it now, where the persians and their allies turned a blind eye to the horrendous chemical attack on civilians and the "Romans" (U.S.) condemned those attacks and acted accordingly.
You consider the the US to be the Romans and Russia to be the Persians?
If so, I would be very curious to know on what basis you made that consideration.

How does this prove anything? It's a bunch of circles someone made in MS paint, it proves nothing. Rows of Syrian aircraft were left intact, the runway is also intact. The US bombed creators into Iraqi and Yugoslavian runways to deny aircraft the ability to take off....yet Syrian aircraft continue to operate from the damaged airfield.

Its a satellite photo of the base after the attack and at some points there is a clear indication of damage. So someone opened ms paint, drew circles around those areas and counted them. It came out to be 44. Got it ???

With relevant target acquisition capability and networking, the S-400 is definitely a potent system against cruise missiles. The interceptors themselves have no performance problems against cruise missiles. The issue is what detection and networking assets you have in play.

Standard vanilla radar on S-400 would definitely have issues against an unexpected cruise missile barrage. But a cruise-missile/ L-O aircraft optimised radar (probably has to be phased array picking up atmospheric RCS propagation) with C4I networking from the air based radars as well....is quite a capable system against almost any aerial threat (provided you have enough interceptors).

For last mile integration....you would essentially need to run this system against such threats (that you provide in testing) and create the relevant algorithms based on your terrain and expected attack vectors etc.

Russia would not have deployed anything of this level in Syria quite simply....Syria is simply nowhere near the level of Moscow etc.. in their military strategy.
Soyou want to say that S 400 is weak against unexpected cruise missile and can intercept any missile if prior warning is given.

S400 is there to defend Latakia air base! This could explain why they fired so many missiles so if a few are shot down then others will arrive at their target. But S400 did not engage them most likely due to their target being the Syrian air base.

if this strengthens ISIS then we know it was all a drama by the US, without any investigation into the chemical use on Syrian civilians attack was launched crippling forces fighting ISIS.

Russia Deploys Missile-Armed Ship to Syria After US Attack: Source
Russia has reportedly sent a missile-armed frigate to its naval base in Syria’s Mediterranean coastal city of Tartus following a recent US missile strike against an airbase in the Arab country.
An informed military-diplomatic source in Moscow told Russia’s TASS news agency on Friday that the Admiral Grigorovich, a Russian Black Sea Fleet’s frigate, was due to arrive in the Mediterranean later on the day.

“The Russian ship armed with cruise missiles Kalibr will visit the logistics base in Tartus,” the source said.

The 4,000-ton warship’s presence off Syria’s coast would depend on the situation, but “in any way it will last more than a month,” the source added.

The Russian ship was deployed to Syria after taking part in a joint exercise with Turkish ships in the Black Sea.

Early on Friday, US warships in the eastern Mediterranean launched a barrage of 59 Tomahawk missiles against Shayrat Airfield in Syria’s Homs Province, which Washington alleged was the origin of a suspected chemical attack on the town of Khan Shaykhun in Syria’s Idlib Province earlier this month.

Washington has not provided any evidence to support the accusations, prompting criticisms from many countries and international intuitions for choosing to take unilateral military action hastily and without proof.

The strike drew the praise from anti-Damascus militant groups as well as the parties long viewed as their staunch supporters, including Saudi Arabia, Israel, Turkey and their Western allies.

Syria has categorically denied carrying out the purported gas attack, with Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem stressing that the Idlib airstrike had targeted a depot, where terrorists stored chemical weapons.

Damascus denounced the US assault as a “blatant aggression” that killed up to 15 people, including civilians, and caused “significant material damage.”

It is being done every day due to every one pounding ISIS with air strikes but after Russia canceling the military line now it would be difficult to make a fly over above Syrian Air space.

According to Igor Korotchenko, the editor-in-chief of the Moscow-based National Defense magazine

"In the first place, the Syrians have island-like air defenses," he said. "This means that the units and weaponry systems them have cover separate facilities. They don’t have an integrated air defense net and I don’t rule out there were no air defenses around that base at all."

"Secondly, apart from Pantsyr (a surface-to-air and antitank missile system TASS) all other systems are outdated because they were manufactured back during the Soviet era and they stand in need of upgrading," Korotchenko said. "That’s why the Syrians couldn’t rebuff the strike meaningfully."

Pentagon had warned the Russian side about the forthcoming strike. "Our commanders at Hmeymim (airbase) received a notification two hours prior to the strike that is was coming up because the Americans had the apprehensions that Russian servicemen might turn out on the Shayrat base."

"Now that we’ve suspended effectuation of the Russian-U.S. memorandum on prevention of dangerous incidents in Syrian airspace, we won’t be receiving any notifications from the Americans and that’s a strong signal to them that they should behave reasonably," he said.

Russia is going to beef up Syrian air defence systems after this attack. That much is certain. It is also moving more of its own hardware into Syria. We are heading for a showdown.

Before the USA missile attacks Syrians never needed an Air defense system but now they need as NATO and USA has become a threat and Syrians will get one. ISIS had no war plane previously and ISIS had no cruise missiles previously but now ISIS has both fighter jets and cruise missiles so Syria will get an Air defense system from Russia.

Before these attacks ISIS never had cruise missiles or fighter jets and Syria is fighting a war against ISIS. Now that USA and NATO has joined ISIS and they need better Air defense systems.

Toxic chemicals, which claimed dozens of lives in the Syrian town of Khan Shaykhun, were previously used by radical armed groups against the Kurds in Aleppo, Chairman of the Syrian Democratic Council Rezan Hiddo told Sputnik Turkey. Nevertheless, Washington and its allies have blamed Assad for the attack.
"According to the data available to us, chemical weapons, which were dispersed in the settlement of Khan Shaykhun in the Idlib province, were used twice in Sheikh Maqsood, a neighborhood in Aleppo. Several jihadist groups, including Jaysh al-Islam and Daesh, have these armaments in their arsenal," he said.
