It'll take a while for Chinese investors and people to learn the ins and outs of the stock market. In the mean time a couple of crashes won't do too bad for building up savvy in the Chinese market.

China needs a couple of crashes to let the masses wake up and smell the roses. China needs to be able to rebound from a lose.

This isn't even the worst yet, the 08 crash was worse from what I can remember.

I didn't lose anything. I don't usually invest in stocks, too much trouble for little reward and too much risk. My salary more than covers all my spending. I invest in myself, if I'm happy, I can continue working and earning.
