It seems the Chinese had been enhancing their preparedness for situations like the ongoing conflict with India on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) soon after the 2017 Doklam crisis as they have developed several military camps in their depth areas all along the LAC from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh.

The Chinese and Indian troops have been engaged in a standoff position with India since April-May timeframe and are now sitting on the heights upto 18,000 feet in the cold desert area of Ladakh.

“The Chinese have been developing military camps in their depth areas all along the LAC. Around 20 of such camps have been observed with some civilians also around these places,” government sources told ANI.

Such camps can provide ability to the Chinese Army to better patrol their side of the LAC as well as to react faster to the developing situations in the border areas, they said.

The over two-months long Doklam crisis had taken place in 2017 when India had objected to the Chinese building roads in the Bhutanese areas which would have given them access close to the Chicken’s neck area which connects mainland India with the Northeastern states.

The stand taken by India had been applauded by the global community as that was probably the first time that some country had taken on China militarily on the territorial issues.

During the ongoing stand off also, the Indian side has more than matched the Chinese aggression and countered its activities in the Eastern Ladakh sector.

The Chinese have come up with close to 60,000 troops backed by heavy artillery, missile forces and armoured regiments.

India too has moved its might to the highest battlefield in the world and deployed three full mountain warfare divisions on the frontline. (ANI)

2017 Doklam will be forever remembered as the turning point of the Chinese-India border dispute ... or more specifically the beginning of when China really started to gain the upper hand. Had the Indians not done this stupid adventure, the Chinese would not have militarized the border so much and the 60 Indian soldiers killed at Galwan would still be alive. But Mr. Modi has shown a history of complete ineptitude when it comes to all policy matters so this is no big surprise.

China coming off a post-Doklam embarrassment, is now in Doklam 2.0. This time the Indian military has again OUTSMARTED the conscript, one-child army. The Chinese military was caught napping, and India has taken the peaks, and at a tremendous advantage_ with China demanding, they come off it. :woot:

China has been forced to disavow their soldier's death, amounting to 40-60, showing there is no bottom to how low they can fall to protect an embarrassment.

...AND now, they are building camps and infrastructure miles away, lol :yes4:

Chinese artillery and MLRS got much further reach and much bigger bang than whatever the rubbish that India scraped the money to buy from others.

And China got a lot more of that then India who cannot even have money to build enough toilets for Indian girls and ladies to use and they had to go to the fields and behind the bushes.

Pictures may work on the Chinese citizen to make them cower, it does NOT on others.

China is happy to make useful investments in India like building toilets so Indians don't have to poop in the fields.

Update yourself please, India without toilets is an old story. Things have changed dramatically, and now you will have to come up with something different.

If i put forward the latest data around % of people using toilet in India vs other countries in the sub continent, many proud members will be put to shame

I wouldn't be so sure about this ... even if more toilets are built, that doesn't mean they will use them.
Data reveals 25% of Hindus who own toilets don’t use them, only 10% of Muslims do the same.
