Pork consumption is permissable if there is wide spread starvation and lack of alternative and Human Life is in danger (Famine ~ lack of meal), no harm also in accidental consumption if someone mixes it intentionally in your meal with out you knowing
Of course, due to the habbit of animal to eat it's own filth and various other hygenic problems and not to mention Swine flu , it is best recommended to stay way from this creature and instead eat meat from other animals. Swine flu is pendamic in modern times however Muslims normally have proper guidance to avoid the animal
Go for alternatives
i.e Cow or Lamb etc
There is a good scientific health reason, during the Swine flu outbreak , western media was keen to change the name of the Virus becuase they did not wanted their business to suffer due to the connection if Virus with Pork meat
Western Scholors and Lobbies promoted the name of H1N virus to hide the dangers of Pork meat
Certain Scientific reasearch , in organ grafting has shown Human body is able to accept the organs extracted from Pork which again shows why the virus from animal can easily jump from Pork to Humans.There are certain characteristics between Human body and pork which allows for easy Jump of Virus between two species
Muslims were already warned about the dangers of eating Pork Meat long time prior to the Swine Flu
1400 Years ago. The under laying secrets of why we should avoid it were not revealed but judging from modern time discoveries we can see certain wisdom in the suggestion
Concept of Virus / Becteria etc or Microbes which eyes cannot see was not to be discovered for quite a few Centuries in Future
I personally consider this revelation to be quite an extraordinary at Personal Level
