where should they protest in a park and have a picnic?
the lives of the elite islamabadians got disrupted so this protest shouldnt happen??
islamabad is our capital people should better prepare for this...
these protestors are not righteous representatives of the people, they are the people.
majority of pakistan supports them, its just the leftist elitists and their kind who are against them.

Protests means changing the Views of the People so that they out vote the ruling party in the next elections.

Protests does not mean to block the roads and to black mail the others by doing so.

And what is wrong for being Leftist and secular? They are thousands of times better than Jahil fasadi Mullah who you are supporting.

In fact, leftist secular played 0 role in this conflict. It is about the extreme right and moderate right.

Not only Edhi was a secular, but according to your Mullahs he was an Atheist.

Whatever he was, he was the pride of Humanity.
Edhi is indeed a national hero!
What are your thoughts on Ch Nisar's criticism of Ahsan Iqbal?

602px-Pakistan_population_density.png

This is the population density map of Pakistan, or at least a rough idea considering it is just a quick google search. There's a lot of Pakistan outside of the three major cities but most of it is in there. Even if this was true you have nothing to back up your claim but the shoddy claim that the majority of Pakistani pop. is part of the barelvi sect - which I doubt in the first place.

Data on this matter is hard to find. Many people don't self identify as barelvi if they haven't been in a situation where it's been specifically extrapolated, most of our ulema merely call them selves followers of ahle sunnah wal jamat - we seek no distinction. For us Ahmed Raza Khan was a sunni, hanafi mujadid, nothing more.

A good rule of thumb to identify so called barelvi populations is by finding mazars and darbars.

A lot of religious folk pay attention to this to the level where it causes disunity. We all have the same kalima - that should be enough.

Most of pakistan is made up of religious folk and unfortunately the kalima is not enough for these people. They seek division for power. Should be dealt with an iron hand but the softness and sympathy of the brain dead in Pakistan has gotten us to a stage where these religious people have way too much power. The country should come first but in Pakistan often it is the last thing on people's minds.

majority of pakistan supports them becuase these are barelvis and majority of pakistan is barelvi, even the other sects are supporting them. the real pakistan is out of islamabad , lahore and karachi.

If majority support them, then out vote others and pick Khadim Hussain in the next elections.

But till than you could not make their blockage legal by claiming they are in majority.

but he offered his resignation earlier too though it was not accepted as per reports earlier
at this point there's so much info coming out; so many sources that nothing is really clear. it will take a while to know whats really going on. this report came out like over 15 hours ago

they're all fearing for their lives. the fruits of trying to bail out one corrupt ganja
lol They are not fearing for their lives they stand with protestors that's the reason. I am from Jhang. They have decided to submit resignation tomorrow to CM house.

The paradox in Pakistan is our approach to religion and education. We hold religion do dearly but don't teach it in detail nor do we teach our children the means to self learn and teach themselves in thier own time using thier own initiative.

This leads to molvi culture. There is nothing wrong with the role of the molvi, but our over reliance on them in society is nuts. This leads to opportunities for exploitation.
