Today judges, govt employees, journalists, doctors and army officers who do not have a residence get land for residence because of their professional consideration. These govt employees also get some sort of loan facilities for building homes.
Rationale for allotment of Home for Zias family:
1) Ziaur Rahman as chief of army staff did not get any land from govt or did not have any residence for him and his family like thousands other army officers or govt employees did and do.
2) Ziaur Rahman did not live in the comfort of Bongo bhaban while he was the President saving the nation crores of taka and did not get any consideration of land or residence.
3) There are many muktijudhha families who benefitted for the role of their family member, Zia or his family never claimed anything for his heroic role in our independence either.
4) Not to mention today army officers family get cores of taka (in cash and property) if the officer dies in the line of duty.
It was and is only logical and there are so many valid reasons to allot the house he lived in serving Bangladesh until he died.
There is nothing legal or logical about this eviction; this is done out of political vendetta using flimsy Rajuk two residence rules which has no application in this case. Would Hasina and her regime dare to apply the Rajuk rules where it really matters on many army officers and govt employees (ex and current) including many of her associates????? I dare you will not get any answer for this question.
Yet this is amusing, people reading lines from Hasinas years of venom against this house without even knowing or considering facts.
