Don't go putting words in my mouth bhai.Led by an Islamist leader,doesn't necessarily mean our countrymen will become ignorant & will not be taught knowledge, science & technology.Our people's mindset is different from the likes of ISIS & Al Qaedor or even the gulf Arabs.
I want my country to become like Malaysia. Developed, yet retaining it's Islamic heritage.

Other than bestowed with oil, gas, and timber, Malaysia is developed because it has many hard-working non-Muslim Chinese citizens who do not waste time praying to Heaven all through the day to make the country developed. I have seen what the Bhumiputra Muslims do there. They love to find out many Islamic formulae to get into the after-death Paradise. The Chinese work hard and are causing the development of that country. It is the same in Indonesia.

What kind of science do you propose when the Mullah group ascends the BD throne? Is it to believe the Universe was created in SIX days or that the Moon was bifurcated by someone's fingerpointing? Or, is it that the Earth is flat? Or could it be the Sun is revolving around the Earth by day and the Moon by the night?

Only one group of people are so superstitious that they cannot think beyond all these caricature and gossip science and you want some of the Mullah guys to lead this country to make it like England or Germany?

Try to learn why Muslims love to go to pork-eating Christian Europe, America or to Buddhist Korea and Japan when their own countries are supposed to be full of technology and science as per your statement?

I have NOT said a mullah should lead, rather a leader with Islamic mindset.You have some serious misconceptions about Islam, and a lack of in-depth knowledge about some subjects.

However, the great Islamic mind @Petrichor thinks Muslim Mullah leaders there are responsible for Malaysian development. It is not gas, oil, timber, and Chinese entrepreneurship.

He most probably never work with Chinese ppl. I spend most of my life at Vancouver and i know how they are. Chinese no matter where they go do well because of hard work and discipline. Quality we never had... what we have is islam this and that bla bla and then 1971 bla bla and conspiracy theories.
