What's new

police man has been arrested for trafficking information to india, treason case filed

98% (or something like that) vote for Hassina's government. Your government "represents" you more then any other democracy in history.
So yes, India is your Husband according to yourself.
Here is a problem . Most of Bangladeshi Muslims are not mass convert to show the allegiance to their tribal leaders or peers . Every Bangladeshi is Muslim by their own decision . And blind following of Pirs are not the culture of majority Bangladeshis , neither religiously nor politically . So the word of Momen can jot be our words !

.
So its like a civilian martial law ?

Why aren't Bangalis doing anything about it ? Protest ? Impeachment ? Law suits ?
Because our economy is finally on the right track.Hasina's subservient attitude towards India notwithstanding, she has delivered much on the economy & infrastructure.People are fed up with her, but they will keep mum about it as long as their living conditions are improving.Remember, we are still a third world country with millions of poor.
However, after Hasina is gone, the grasp of Sheikh family & BAL will be finished.
InshaAllah a new leader with Islamic mindset will take the reins after she is gone.Hopefully BD & Pakistan can take steps to become brotherly countries when that happens.
Our banters & name calling in PDF notwithstanding, most Bangladeshis, including me love Pakistan & have favorable attitude towards it.We have nothing but good wishes & prayers for a brotherly Muslim country like Pak.

Like wise... The day Hasina stop mentioning Pakistan in her speeches , you will see a gradual decrease in hostility on PDF. The Government of Pakistan I assure you is in no way hostile to Bengalis . They have recognized their mistakes and have made peace with the past.

Also, I hope you will give us ( Imran Khan) the same benefit of doubt/courtesy when it comes to economy. He would have surely went to the summit in Malaysia had Pakistan been a little better economy wise.

Fair enough. And Hasina's anti Pakistan rhetoric is already declined in a certain degree. It will be gone after golden jubilee of independence I think.

I always want to celebrate our cultural days like 21 February, 26 March and 16 December in a good and peacefull way as Americans also celebrate their days and British have no problem with this matter.

So I hope relationship between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be very nice again as long as the issue ( vilification of Pakistan unnecessarily) will come to an end. I wish this day is not so far!

Thanks bro.Indeed after Hasina is gone, you'll see zero anti Pak rhetoric from BD representatives.
Yes,past should remain in the past. Both sides have made mistakes. We should move on from whatever happened in the past & instead focus on friendly relations in the future & stand united against the mutual threat we face in our borders.

Hasina don't want her family members to lead AL. So in future AL leadership will be outside of Sheikh family I think. However Hasina will be remembered for her good deeds and as the healer of wounds of Bangladesh made by BNP. But after her, AL is useless. BNP minus khaleda and AL minus Hasina is same.

So yes I agree with you that we need new leaders and male leaders. And it will be best if new parties with moderate Islamic mind raise and come to power, it will.be great thing.

I don't want any moorsi type who will try to change everything overnight. I want a leader like Erdogan who can leader our nation towards our cultural root and also keep the current pace of economic development and social development.

I understand your position because of the weak economy.
It's just frustrating to me because this is the first Muslim alliance since the end of Ottoman Caliphate that actually has the potential to be effective with heavyweights like Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Malaysia, Qatar & Indonesia. So I'm sure you can understand the disappointment I felt when I heard that Pakistan won't be joining the summit in any capacity.

InshaAllah in the future when your economy is stronger, you'll join. And Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala willing Bangladesh will as well.

95 percent lol.

Lmao typical genocide-apologist pretending to be a Canadian & acting superior while advocating killings of little kids.
The righteous fake dude. champion of humanity lol.

. . .
You see the character of these Pakistani guys. i am happy we are not with those people any more.

You cannot malign whole nation in a single stroke like this or for the act of an individual even though, be it Hasina or her gang; doesn't deserve any sympathy at all.

Are you predicting creation of another Islamic Republic on the Earth whose population will be taught ignorance instead of knowledge, science, and technology? Is it only to make friendship with a faraway country called Pakistan? Hope, people will find some good points in your great predictions.

It's not a prediction, rather a hope of mine.
Don't go putting words in my mouth bhai.Led by an Islamist leader, doesn't necessarily mean our countrymen will become ignorant & will not be taught knowledge, science & technology. Our people's mindset is different from the likes of ISIS & Al Qaedor or even the gulf Arabs.
I want my country to become like Malaysia.Developed, yet retaining it's Islamic heritage.

Is it only to make friendship with a faraway country called Pakistan?
No.It's because of the Islamic identity & heritage we have inherited since the Sultanate era. It's presence is very strong in Bangladesh, whether you admit it or not.
As a Muslim country, BD's future lies with the Islamic world, whether you like it or not.
Btw do you expect BD to counter Indian hegemony by itself?
