I know but 'military alliance' like joint defence pact is not on agenda ....

military pact might not be in the agenda but there are other stuff that can benefit all 3 (or 5) countries.
Joint Venture on defense, company will spend money on R&D and create a product that can be used by all 3 countries. Samr goes for other development projects, trade and common currency. If European can do it, why can’t muslim countries?

Indonesia makes it’s own trains, if they Joint, countries can invest and share knowledge to build same or better train system in all countries. Indonesia also make transport plan.

Saudi do control a lot of things by their oil.money in Pakistan for sure. That includes funding to religious institutions.
Arabs have a lot.of.moneh ans hence influence.

This summit is the first step in the right direction. Their economies should be integrated like European union . I hope they make some kind of economic alliance before making a military partnership. How about a united bank and a single currency?

I think the summit was only about Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Turkey for Joint ventures and causes. inviting Qatar was a big spoiler by detectors of Dr. Mahathir which may have irked the Saudis..

As for Iran, they are not invited.. just sensationalism, if Iran is part of this summit, then Pakistan should better stay away from this mess.

As Imran Khan mentioned at OIC summit, OIC was created to get muslim nations to support Palestine, what has this useless organisation done for Palestine and muslim nations. They couldn't stop Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon wars. What is the point of it except to make statements and go back home. The OIC can easily send a peace keeping force to Gaza, WestBank and Lebanon, Israeli border, they dont need UN permission because these nations are part of OIC.
