As i see it right now, the two Indian neighbors will be more pleased at seeing India crumble then allowing it the peace to develop itself and becoming a strong nation and a threat to them (in their perception).

So India will have to keep concentrating equally on economy and deterrent military power to reach a position where it is strong enough to make the other two desire peace with India.

Indeed when India will become super POW-er for your two neighbors, only that we can negociate the peace.

And you also were given a simple lesson in logistics to show you that one corps cannot prevail against another in mountain warfare. You need nine of them, remember?

Good thing that those mountain terrain keeps bothsides thinking twice about attacking each other before they make any decisions..

Nobody in India wants to attack China - discounting fanboys, of course. The mountains are good only as defences for India, as they were thought to have been. That they failed to be good defences was due to a failure to use terrain, a failure to provide united-locking support to deployed units, and a failure to ensure that no weak points were left unguarded by the defense.

Mistakes learnt are the basis for corrections implemented. The Indian Army has thought very hard about its past failures. Some of its conclusions will be implemented.
