What's new

PML-N channel aka GEO is supporting PTI w.r.t Karachi. You need to believe this.

Karachi's problem solutions layes in magnanimity of diverse political forces. I have a sincere advice for urdu speaking karachittes specially, anyone who wants you to fight other political forces is not your friend. Democracy flourish under divergent views but it needs two to tango. Urban Sindh can vote one party and rural Sindh to another but they can accommodate each other in political institutions under democracy and find working relationship and it works everywhere then why not in Pakistan.

PPP here is your big brother in Sindh, find working relationship with them anyone who wants you to antoganize urban sindh against rural sindh is your true enemy, every one knows who that are for past 75 years. If you pursue on the same path Karachi's problem will never solved for another 75 years.....write it somewhere.

Dont run for and makes yourself pawn of an illusion. Came out of seige mentality and forge alliances instead of divisions. Divisions serves the purpose of others, learns it. How many more years did it take you to learn this simple question is beyond me.

I just dont want to see @PaklovesTurkiye opening a same kind of thread in 2050 as well.....Simple.

I do understand what you meant but mqm did the same and that is with support of public just showing you how strong mqm was

And now we have seen what happened to mqm.

Ppp had been given enough years to rule and perform if they cant deliver in 12 years they wouldnt be able to in future. And no one can come on media and say sindhi desh and get separated just like that.

Bro I completely agree with what you are saying. My point is are we going to follow the same steps as with mqm, or should we learn from our shortcomings and treat the threat at a benign stage instead of going against a malignant tumor. PPP needs to be neutered first before they can ignite any flame.

.
The biggest blunder of moving captial from Karachi to Islamabad has to rectified. I hope PTI can manage to make it a federal city before it next elections.

Financial and legislative capitals being different is common in many countries. Make lower Sindh a separate province instead of federal territory. Just my two cents.

Yeah but how? One way is wait for zardari to die then bring another sindhi party and then do the rest which will take time

I'm sorry to be so pessimistic, but I don't see any real change happening.

Realistically what can PTI do for Karachi besides short term federal efforts to improve the situation on the ground? Karachi needs to become the beneficiary of legislative change. The chances of this happening right now are very low.

The reason I am pessimistic is that Karachiites are not becoming organised as a political force calling for self-rule/devolution. It is a mistake to think the federal government or any other party is your savior, or that temporary federal intervention is your best hope. You need your own assembly, your own mayor, your own tax collection, your own political organisation, districts and councils, and your own local authorities and departments in charge of your city. Anything short of this is a temporary half-measure, no real solution at all.

Just look at the scale of problems in your city, you should not be aiming for the low hanging fruit of federal intervention, at least when you aim for the stars if you fail you might land on the moon. Aiming for the low hanging fruit you might get some airtime for a moment but you'll be face down in the dirt same place as you were a year from now. Karachiites need to get serious, know what your goals are, organise yourselves and fight for it.

Karachi needs Honk Kong level of protests.

I hope Karachi gets separated from Sindh, count Dracula's Pee Pee Pee have been ruling Sindh with impunity for the last 12 years and the situation in Karachi gets worse with each passing day, When ever PPP see's a threat to Karachi, Billo Rani and his minions bark like a mad dog at the federal government to vent their failures, If only Billo Rani cared for Karachi and Sindh action speaks louder than words.

That's Shahzeb Khanzada for you. Mainstream Leading anchor of Geo.

You cannot expect Shahzeb/Geo to openly root for PTI but indirectly though.

The stage is set.

PTI will never get this opportunity, again. Even worst of her enemies are supporting her when it comes to Karachi.

Chances don't wait for anybody. Supreme Court, people, media, civil society etc you name it. Everyone is with PTI when it comes to Karachi.

Just imagine if PTI manages to do wonders for Karachi, her popularity will get SKY ROCKET on national level. A turbo boost straight up vertically. International media may also cover it since Khi as port city ridiculously attracts attention from around the world. It's your business center, dammit.

Involve all stakeholders/power centers and get us rid off of this collective shame pathetic menace called PPP, one and for all

PERMANENT SOLUTION!
Governor raj is temporary fix we already have a precedent in form of governor raj in Punjab and Balochistan by pp we can do it if we want to but I think for maximum effect we should wait till senate elections so ppp doesnot use blackmail tactics against government bus 2021 key Feb tak sabar karlein

.
You rarely see such a unanimous consensus in Pakistan on anything
There is consensus but pathetic ppp is willing to stall even crucial legislation on FATF for its political goals they are already courting ethnofascists we should proceed with caution but a permanent solution does include separation of Karachi atleast on the administrative side from Sindh provincial government
