We should have given utmost warm reception to a PM of a brotherly and such a friendly country... ....Arrgh..Gilani, u are such an idiot....

With lot of respects in my, mind to our hounrable, turkish primeminster & his sense-able speach, it seems , he came to deliver NATO,s messge, to our parlimentarins, to pave the way to open the, shutted, nato supplies in a decent language!
Its the same, messge ! Which was delivered to pakistan, in arabic & english before?
Well, growing economic disaster in EU & in Usa , is the real cause of concern here, & Usa & Nato allies, wants to take, their remains from afghanistan, with a fAke victory wrritten, on their flags.
Surly, they will throw, pakistan , same like back, in 90s or they, are going to attack iran & pakistan, any way ISI , is not ready, for both, of it!
& it will engage , nato & co. Ldt , with the underground support of china & russia!
Well, thanks turkey brother, let us decide, what is better, for pakistan, we still love you, & we will be ready to support you any time.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayip Erdogan will pay a two-day visit to Islamabad on the invitation of his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif from December 23, the Foreign Office confirmed on Friday.

“The Turkish Prime Minister will be in Pakistan on the invitation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on December 23, and 24," Foreign Office spokesman Aizaz Chaudry told Anadolu Agency. A delegation of Turkish businessmen and investors will also accompany him with the first lady, the spokesman said.

According to Chaudry, the focus of the visit is to promote bilateral cooperation particularly in the areas of trade, energy and investment. The two countries are due to ink memoranda of understanding and trade and investment agreements.

The Turkish premier is also expected to receive the highest civilian award of Pakistan in recognition of his services to underpin the historical relations between the two countries.
Earlier, Pakistani Premier Sharif had visited Ankara from September 16 to 18 this year, and met President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Erdogan. Foreign Office sources state that the Turkish businessmen and investors are coming to Pakistan with lucrative proposals in response to Sharif’s invitation. Diplomatic experts see Erdogan’s visit as “very important” vis-à-vis economic development and cooperation between the two Muslim states.

The two sides continue their longstanding military and economic cooperation through various defense projects. Turkey is already upgrading Pakistan’s F-16 jet fighters. Pakistan is also benefiting from Turkey’s expertise in the radio telecommunication field for its armed forces. Turkey is constructing a 17000 feet fleet tanker for the Pakistani Navy. And according to Pakistani Defense Production Minister Rana Tanvir Hussein, Turkey are in discussions in procuring our “Super Mashaak” training aircraft.

Turkey has been assisting the government of Punjab province, the country’s largest and richest province, through it’s municipal and transport sectors. Pakistan introduced its first world-class metro bus service in northeastern city of Lahore. Turkey provided both technical and structural assistance to this service in this second largest city and cultural hub of this South Asian nuclear nation a few months ago. Turkey is also assisting the Punjab government to develop a municipal system of international standards throughout the province.

Currently, the bilateral trade volume is over $1 billion. In the last decade, the trade volume between Turkey and Pakistan has grown 7.5-fold, according to official figures. The bilateral trade is largely in favor of Pakistan.

Construction is the leading sector for Turkish investors in Pakistan. However, Turkey’s principal exports to Pakistan are air transportation vehicles, textiles, defense industry products, chemicals, machinery, cereals and prefabricated housing, whereas Pakistan’s exports are fabric, garments, plastics and chemicals.

Since the early 1990’s the total amount of projects undertaken by Turkish contractors exceeds $1.8 billion. Turkish companies are becoming more active in the energy sector in Pakistan also. Turkish firms built the first wind turbines in Pakistan in 2009. Additionally, another Turkish company will generate and supply electricity to Karachi with its power ship; the biggest in the world.

Furthermore, the Housing Development Administration of Turkey (TOKI) is engaged in construction of 5000 houses in the 2005 earthquake-affected areas of Azad Kashmir and northwestern Khyber Paktunkhawa (KP) province.
