PM Narendra Modi most sought-after leader at Brisbane meet

Ok.. Before you blokes go all ape shyt on me for saying this, Let me first say that Mr. Modi does bring out a lot of optimism around i have got nothing against the man But seriously you Indians take your hero worshiping to another level dont ya ??!!

I mean we all knew about the fanaticism when it comes to Bollywood actors, Cricketers and generally South Indian politicians putting them up on a pedestal, But this Modi phenomena has taken off with a bang.. There are probably a dozen threads every day discussing his daily routine.. It's like a FB fan page.. Lol

P.S. Not a complaint just an observation.. :D
You are right....modi has brought lot of optimism in our country..specially in youth. .we follow him workshop him and trust him ...He is truly our modern day national hero...har har modi.ghar ghar modi......thank you sir for raising our esteem throughout the world.

Yes, there is a popular stereotype of calling Dogras as Kashmiri, when I was in Katra, people from lodge owners to guides who take you to the shrine didn't liked to be called as Kashmiris.

Theres a history of it.Dogras ruled the entire state and Kashmiris were not considered soldier material both physically and mentally and Sikhs and Dogras were in the Army.

After that Nehru ji came and gave them power and both India and the state are suffering because of this.

Every thing is concentrated in Kashmir and 2 out of 3 regions are not looked properly which are btw pro indian.

But the region which gives birth to anti india sentiments and terrorism is looked after so well and given all the power.

You need to understand he is the guy who formed first single party government in India in 30 years and in the places like UP took seat of his party from just 10 seats to 73 seats. BTW do you know he is third most followed person of twitter. ;)

.
After a long long time ...we have got a leader about whom we can talk about. But be assured that it will die down the moment Modi makes a blunder.

Too many expectations leads to bigger disappointments at failure.. After all it's politics in the end.. I seem to remember the euphoria with Man Mohan Sigh at that time.. A Economist, Minority leader, A scholar etc.. People, Media went on the over drive just like these days.. :D

Yes, I heard most of J and K electricity comes from Ladakh and Jammu and people from these region seldom complain about it but the 'azadi freaks' go on telling how India is stealing the electricity of Kashmiris. I don't think Kashmir valley has anything to offer except from their saffron and apples.

MMS was good in his 1st term...and thats the reason he got elected for a 2nd term.

And you could 've mentioned Obama too..remember how his vacation pics also were leaked as soon as he was elected?.
Atleast we Indians dont barge into our leader's private lives (thats very rare). :)

.
They need to get Xi Jinping a twitter account.. :azn:

What makes you think he will get as many followers as Modi ? Xi Jinping is not democratically elected by the people. :disagree:

He is just a president, not a Leader.

Thats true.. But Western media and it's general populace reactions are two different things.. Not comparable.. The Royal family dominate most of the tabloid space.. As for the everyday Briton, Would'nt give two tosh's other than reading the story.. Mass media to reactions of general populace is different
