On August 27, Army Chief Bajwa had called on Imran Khan at the PM House. The two dignitaries had expressed resolve to continue efforts for enduring peace and stability in the country.

They also exchanged views on the overall security situation in the region.

Army Chief General Bajwa also felicitated Imran Khan on assuming office of the prime minister.

Imran’s visit to the GHQ comes ahead of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s expected arrival to Pakistan in the first week of September. US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis has also confirmed Mr. Pompeo’s visit.

During his visit to Pakistan, Secretary Pompeo will focus on major issue of terrorism, seeking Pakistan’s support to take bilateral action against the common enemies and terrorists.

Pompeo will be the first foreign dignitary to meet the newly elected Prime Minister, who took oath of his office on August 18.

In a statement, The US State Department had welcomed the new Pakistani prime minister, dispelling the impression that Washington was not happy with Imran Khan’s election.

WILL Tutoring the council of ministers along with PM send the right message across the nation ?

He wasn't touring an enemy state GHQ at all. Don't know about the hate of ministers towards Military in neighbouring countries, but here we are looking at level of understanding & to draw policies of mutual interests with combined input. Every institute & department must be well aligned, work in close coordination and policies will be designed with input from all because National Interest is priority. Seems a bit alien as compare to past, therefore, it wouldn't be a surprise to read people saying as such. It is safe to assume that this will be the first step to counter propaganda or rift, grudge, divide & enmity. A strong state executes its strong policy only by way of combined efforts of all the institutes. The message is clear and loud.

It is mashaAllah so heartening to see that both civil and military leaderships are working with each other as one unit...A nightmare for our enemies and a saffron chaddi just popped up with his crap.
What a contrast from the past when the civilian govt was always fighting and creating trouble for Pakistan to satisfy the agenda of their masters. Now the assholes are rotting in the jail.

So when your illiterate sarhak chap PM meets your COAS he gets tutored by that bugger?

As said, it will be hard for many to digest. Let's not carried away. The nation has been tortured for decades so let's enjoy the desired times & further progress.

@Thorough Pro I know what he did and am doing. Keep calm.

This is in the interest of Pakistan if our all institutions comes on same page. We want to see good relation with them, which is important for the progress of Pakistan. Also terrorists are taking last breadth, We are safe due to sacrifices of our army and police. We are strong country. Together we grow!

Pakistan never really had civil military disputes. All problems were caused by over inflated ego of Nawaz Sharif, now rotting in jail

A strong Foreign Policy, National Security & Country's progress needs a well coordinated, aligned & mutual strategy being designed through input of all the state institutes to the competent Civilian authorities; to deal with all threats and challenges as per current foreign diplomacy, geopolitics and sovereignty. Unfortunately, for several reasons, previously Pakistan couldn't get the desired understanding due to involvement of external forces as well as corrupt political lot which couldn't compromise of their looted wealth/foreign properties for national interests hence, weak diplomacy.

Propagandists & manipulators of previous corrupt rulers will mislead and throw tantrums as per current development which is a bit hard to be understood by them being short on intellectual capacity and knowledge of Government's strong policies. The key players being deliberately kept away from each other and rift/grudge was created among all so Pakistan couldn't achieve desire results for independent policies.

Now is the time to rise as strong state and officials as such, needs to work closely only for motherland.

Now he knows how many bambs we have...

I hope they gave detailed presentation on brahmosh ( itsh a shuper shonic mijjile)

The briefing was 8 hours long for GOD sake 8 hours that was some serious briefing Man
But then Muffakir we are in a 5th gen war and Gangadesh is building up it's capabilities all the time eg today they announced that they have developed their own computer micro-processor, not an easy feat by any means, who knows what multiple threats are being planned by our enemies, by the grace of the ALMIGHTY hopefully these plots have been infiltrated by our agencies.Kudos Hazrat
