PM Imran to break ground for Rashakai Economic Zone this month

PESHAWAR – Prime Minister Imran Khan will perform groundbreaking ceremony of the Rashakai Economic Zone (REZ) on November 18, Defence Minister Pervez Khan Khattak said Sunday.
Rashakai Economic Zone is a project included in China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Under this crucial project, Khattak said, thousands of industrial units would be established wherein millions of the residents of Nowshera and its adjacent districts would get employment and usher a new era of progress and development in the area.

The defence minister was addressing two separate gatherings at the residence of Amjad Azam, alias Quaid-e-Azam at Union Council, Badrashi and a joining public meeting at Risalpur wherein an ANP activist, Gohar Taj announced joining PTI along with his family and associates.

Pakistan prosperity and freedom lies in the industrialization of Pakistan on the war footing. Chasing the corrupt politicians may be a noble and right thing to do but considering Pakistan justice system, establishment fingers in many pies and foreign countries influences in our internal political system current government may end up nothing to show for. Easy way out to deal with the known corrupt politicians is to take them to the sea and sink the bloody boat so our courts could be let free to deal with the other things.
While NAB is dealing with the corruption, people still have to live, eat and go through the daily mundane things. IK need to focus and give full attention for setting up industrial units. Two years down the line people will want to know how many are in the jobs and probably they won't even remember the covit even existed.

IK needs to find a way to draw in large amount of FDI (not loans but investments) and close the import/export gap, so that we don’t have to take out any more loans to cover our costs.

The establishment of such economic zones is a very important step for creating new job opportunities and enhance the export base of the country. I have been listening to setting up this Rashakai Economic Zone since long it was a part of the initial CPEC plan.
Will somebody shares the details of the procedures for acquiring land to set up a factory. complete procedural details and government incentives for such zones. this information may be helpful for the entrepreneurs and industrialists intending to set up factories there.

I know the difference. I said the concept of special zones for industrial and economical activities is not new. I did not said both are same and equal in every aspect.
