Its better not to have a house with 30 year mortgage. Now pakistanis will be under debt for their entirebkives as we see in europe and usa. My parents lived in a rented house all their lives atleast didnt have debt hanging around their necks

It has to be some other model. If we keep following westrn ways we are bound to end up in shit like them. Give houses to most vulnerable that is fine but opening mortgage is going to be a disaster

Pakistan does not have a culture of steady income or strong Middle Class , giving out mortgages to people barely living pay check to pay check is recipe for disaster

I understand the monthly payments = rent and some people can move into their own home

However !!!!!!

• They normally have any money to do house renovation
• Keep up the property up by yearly expenses on , lawn / garden work , weed removal
• They have no cash to paint etc. in the mortgage model
• Electrical repairs
• Plumbing repairs

With Rental property model the Renter Property Manager has the responsibility to do the care of building or property

Mortgage Culture will introduce , both Husband/Wife to work in order to make payments on the mortgage

With Banks having power to , claim property if a family can't make payments on home means we will see larger number of homeless if any major economic hit hits the economy

Mortgage = Double Edge Sword

However the Mortgage System will create a massive Banking/Economic cycle

• Job creation for Mortage Broker
• Mortgage processor
• Credit review system

Perhaps a mortgage where the payment buys equity from the bank. Share the risk and share the reward. Should something happen and the person is unable to pay, they still own equity in the house and can use it to get the through hard times, while they get back on their feet, or can sell the house to the bank and take their equity at anytime.

E is not asking people to buy house who already have house. He is asking people who don't have house and they paying rent and if they paying rent then it is good to pay mortgage then rent. In Pakistan 95 percent people own their own houses right

I tell you Pakistanis hav millions of cash. Second it is way to bring money from foreign countries. I know many people who would love to buy house in that wsy by sending money from abroad. Second I heard house cost around 25 lack. It is not big among if price is under 2.5 millions rp

This way ik can make people use their black money. My home village we have around 75 houses and around 50 families out of 75 own 10 millions cash. Half of them own more then 30 millions. I am talking about village near gujar khan. You will find stories like this in whol of potwar
