ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan has welcomed the signing of historic peace agreement between the United States and Afghan Taliban, while cautioning all stakeholders to not let the “spoilers” sabotage the peace efforts.

“This is the start of a peace and reconciliation process to end decades of war and suffering of the Afghan people. I have always maintained that a political solution, no matter how complex, is the only meaningful path to peace,” said the premier in a tweet minutes after the agreement was signed in Doha.

Yep i fear some group will take hostages of united states or coalition forces inside afghanland and a bigger war might start.

I read a prediction not that i trust human predictions but it does linger around in minds.
It mentioned 9 months of peace deal and then bloodshed cuz of foreign hostages. Speculation i know but yea being cautious is always good.

Spoiler is only one nation - India who has lost everything as a result of this deal. I was expecting that they would try to sabotage this peace treaty but they didn't. Perhaps Trump has warned them hard and that despite objections they dare not interfere in the signing process.

India has lost nothing. India wants a independent, strong Afghanistan.

Right now, the biggest threat to the peace deal us the election results in Afghanistan.

Are Ghani and Abdullah gonna set come to a compromise, or is this gonna lead to conflict? Either way, it doesn't look good.

Oh, and the NDS, and a bunch of militant groups are also a factor that may try to sabotage the deal.

Oh yes. A strong Afghanistan on it's feet is in the interest of India. India and Afghanistan have no room for bad relations.

Otherwise India wouldnt give it's Hind Attack helicopters, build their Parliament building, find a trade route through Iran.

It is in the utmost for India for Afghanistan to be independent and strong. It's a natural partner. :)

Do not forget Iran as well.

Lol. Taliban will not leave one of your kind in Afghanistan, rest assured.

No one wants an independent Afghanistan, not india, not pakistan, not iran, not china, not russia, and not the us.

Don't lump us together with the others. Pakistan has the greatest interest for Afghans than any neighboring country, we alone took in 3-5 million Afghans.

It is in the interests of Pakistan to have a representative government in Afghanistan. Our relations can only get better.

Nah, that's all to buy influence. Has nothing to do with making Afghanistan independent and strong.

By spoilers, he is referring to the recent threats by Ghani and Abdullah 2 against the peace deal. They are now in disfavor with their foreign masters and are scared for their future.

Said spoilers are being supported now by Iran and India, but without domestic support, they can't last long.

I don't know whether you're agreeing with me or not.

India doesnt need any presence inside Afghanistan. Just a stable one is beneficial to it.

Nah, that's all to buy influence. Has nothing to do with making Afghanistan independent and strong.

It doesnt buy much influence, nor does it much make independent or strong. They have to do that by themselves. Which India has no problem with.

:cool::cool::cool:

Will be a sight to have Afghanistan with a stable economy and strong standing army.:smokin:
