Bangladesh has made 5 steps up in the global economic index despite the global situation which in no way is a small thing, she said and called upon all to be alert as conspiracies are being hatched against the development of the country.

She further said:"There might have much conspiracies and plot the much the country advance towards the development because many people did not want Bangladesh's independence. That's why those who did not want our independence will not like the country's development.”

Referring to the construction of the Padma Bridge with its own finance overcoming the conspiracies, the Prime Minister vowed that Bangladesh must march towards advancement confronting all the hurdles that included conspiracies.

Sheikh Hasina said she is coming to power to give something to the people rather than to get something.

"I once again want to say that I am coming to (power) not take something, but I am coming to do a work only and give something to the people of Bangladesh. My only target is to present the countrymen a developed and beautiful life," she added.

Describing the fresh BCS officers of administration as the soldiers of 2041, she said they are entrusted with transforming Bangladesh into a developed, prosperous and Smart Bangladesh by 2041 and giving the people an improved life as envisioned by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The Prime Minister gave credit to the officers to achieve the status of a developing country with facing the challenges that have been arisen from the Covid-19 outbreak.

She said she found the government officers sincere in performing their professional duties since assuming office.

The Prime Minister said she had narrowly escaped death as a bullet passed over her head while a party activist saved her life by receiving another bullet in his body.

"I have survived miraculously. I have to face such incidents many times. But, I don't dare to die. I am coming to the power to work for the people and the people are my strength," she said.

.
So with $12000 per capita income Bangladesh’s gdp will be $2.2 trillion if really that per capita income can be achieved by 2041.

With projection of $1 trillion @bluesky was having nightmare but this time with projection of $2.2 trillion by PM Hasina @bluesky surely will have a heart attack. :omghaha:

The goal is quite conservative. Vietnam’s target GDP per capita in 2050 is 27,000 to 30,000 US dollars.

Vietnamese society and people are a lot more advanced than ours so it makes sense to be honest plus so many industries are moving out of China and straight into Vietnam across the border, one only has to see the eye watering export data coming out of Vietnam to see that that country is the next China.

Tell me how she can do it even with fake BBS data. She says so because she will face the election and because idiots like you and @UKBengali believe at face value what she says.

I know you are totally ignorant of any knowledge of economics, especially that concerns Nation Economic Development. Yet, I ask you how a shopkeeper can expect to sell a total of Tk100,000 worth of goods every day unless he invests big money to collect and purchase those goods in large quantities.

Like businesses, a country needs money for direct investment, money for educating people, and thousands of others. So, where from Hasina Bibi will bring the investment capital? Is it from the S. Alam group? It is only $3 billion.

If this money is invested, it will raise the GDP by a mere $750 more or less per year.

. . . .
This is how a ambitious country works. You set realistic goals and work hard to achieve them. Pakistani leaders can take note.

I would be very careful about making a statement like that.

Vietnam is a huge re-exporter of MNCs and could soon fall into the "middle-income" trap like Thailand and Brazil etc.

BD has extremely high value-add from it's exports.

BD will catch up as time goes by since it is coming from a lower base - my money would be on BD being ahead in per capita than Vietnam by 2050.

Your on the money most of the time. Veit's mainly receive shipment from China and put 🎀 a skillful ribbon on it. Then get it shipped to u.s. so China can take advantage of duty loop hole.

Alot bdeshi companies are home grown and are entering the value chain. Inshallal

You mean GDP per capita... Don't bore us with large posts when you know very little about most anything aside from breaking rocks.

Right from the start this almost couple of decades ago on the bengali/bdeshi forum. This guy was coming out with so much rubbish, but in wordy way that a naive person would have fallen for it.

If i could pull up all the posts in which the direction that he wanted bdesh to go in, well bdesh would have been worse off than pak.

Also even well independent almost unbiased financial houses confirming bdeshs economic growth. He refutes saying its all fake at times.

He wanted bdesh to go back intime and experiment hand craving a stone wheel then eventually come up to some form 19th century industrialisation a few hundred years later.

I think at one point this guy even wanted bdesh to replicate colonial cargo and transit ocean going ships. Things have moved on from there.

This guy must have some massive internalised racism and inferiority complex.

Or he is razkar.

Or he is pak or indo pretending to be bdeshi.

Remember pak and indo - (bengalis exist ) a.a alom is one of them, well he's half bengali at least and a complete traitor to bdesh.
