This made Karachi a preferred destination for the urban class migrants from North India. It was not some fishing village developed by Mohajirs post 1947 ... Karachi's development was more the "cause" of Mohajirs settling there than the "consequence"..

Mohajirs, in the early years, had 20% quota in civil services despite the fact that they made up almost 5% of the population only. Thanks to Liaquat Ali Khan Sb

Well Muhajirs were far more educated and skilled too as compared to Sindhis. So obviously they had a lion's share in the government

Liaquat Ali Khan couldn't give government jobs to someone from Larkana or Sukkur because of obvious lack of education and ability

There is a reason no one from Larkana ever became COAS of Pakistan while it had COAS who was born in Azamgarh

No idea about sindh but punjab didn't push nobody as some may have moved due to the cultural affinity coz had it been the case there wont be any bihari colonies left in the urban centres of punjab .

Plz fill in the civil services qouta for urban/rural sindh. Plenty of post are still vacant due to non clearance of written test. I mean like literally All they have to do is clear it and get allocated anyways , no worries about scoring top positions .

It isn't that easy that you just get clear it and get the job. Please do research how systematically Karachiites are barred from government jobs in Sindh and even at Federal level

Plz contact the nearest fpsc office and ask them about the details and nature of jobs vacant for entire sindh not just urban area because of non clearance of written test .

Successful aspirants from punjab and kp don't get allocated or simply given a thakka va mehkma to presrve qouta limit . And to top it off they are demanding special syllabus for urban/rural sindh to pass it
