WASHINGTON: A Pakistani defense attache and ambassador were the passengers of a plane that crashed in the United States, here the other day.

The small aircraft, carrying attache Haseeb Paracha and envoy Shujaat Rathor, crashed in the US capital due to unknown reasons.

A private news channel said the incident occurred in West Virginia on 28 April, resulting in minor injuries to both the dignitaries.

It said both the Pakistani nationals were dispatched from the hospital after necessary treatment.

Just managed to speak to a contact since Haseeb wasn't available, the plane belonged to a friend of Haseeb, there were three persons in it......sadly Haseeb suffered a small fracture in his wrist otherwise he was well enough to attend office.
Hopefully i'll speak to him tommarrow.
