Agreed, stun grenades and CQB equipment is what they need. These people aren't climbing mountains with 30 Kg backpacks so they can afford to have ceramic plated, interceptor-style heavy body armor. As for Optics, Holographic sights are ideal for CQB.

Okay it should be like this but than again, you are comparing them with US army special ops, while these are just Police forces.
