Kalari artists from Malabar perform at the programme. IGNOU has introduced a certificate course in “Kalari” at its community college in Vadakara near Kozhikode. Prof. V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai Vice Chancellor of IGNOU, who presided over the workshop, said that experts in martial art forms of the two regions should be suitably rewarded.

Women Kalari artists of Kerala exhibit their skills as part of the ‘National Workshop on Martial Arts' programme in Kozhikode on Saturday. Prof. V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai also said that candidates trained in these art forms should be given preference in recruitments to the paramilitary services.

A Typical sight in Lower Punjab in the season of Sugar Cane. Believe me, I have seen worst :coffee:

I also live in suger cane producing region of India, this crop has led to major economical improvement of the common farmer. How are things on your side?:cheers:

Its pretty common. I never felt like taking pictures.
