PIA suspended twice weekly karachi - Dhaka service citing poor loads and thin yields. Pk 266/267 used to operate on every monday and wednesday.

P.s : it was the only direct air link between Pak and Bangladesh. PIA management have decided to resume this flight only if demand increased and operating cost will be viable.
PIA Airbus A320 AP-BLW operated last flight from karachi to Dhaka on 19th november.

Good going, next on line should be diplomatic relations.

How many people actually travel both way it's supposed to stop if you can't get enough passenger. Pakistan have many tourist attraction if promoted in Bangladesh, those who visit India may visit Pakistan too if financially equal to cost visiting India.

That department is a lost cause, otherwise there are many many things which can be promoted to cause surge.

The new CEO/chairman of PIA is trying to reduce the losses so he has started with routes and recently started two direct flights to Oman because of the high traffic volume while ditching some routes the unprofitable routes. What you suggested is perhaps the job of the ministry of tourism. However, the cost of visiting Pakistan will be more because of the distance and also the hotels in Pakistan tend to be quite expensive so those may not suit more budget travellers though I think some cheap options are also available. But when the load surges, I'm sure the flights will be resumed.

45000 visas were issued to Indians yearly by Pakistan . but no figure how many visas were issued to bd citizens

This actually make sense. PIA is not known for quality passenger services like some other airlines frequenting in Dhaka. So no advantage choosing PIA over Emirates of Etihad for flying Middle East. And passenger traffic is not that great between PAK and BD. Other than Bihari refugees, no one in Bangladesh are interested to go to countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan etc. Pakistanis also have not much reason to visit Bangladesh except some businessmen and students. Biman Bangladesh terminated it's Karachi destination long ago for these reasons. Now PIA also done the same.

You should stop inventing meaning. I actually wondered, why PIA taken this long to terminate this route? Biman Bangladesh done this long ago regerding Karachi. If there was demand for Pakistani destination among Bangladeshi passengers, then Biman would have not done that. That means PIA was operating this route with loss till date.

Now Bangalis will come to Pakistan Illegaly ?

not again....we are already fed up with millions of iillegal Afghanis
