I don't know why on earth Pakistan was created with two wings a thousand mile apart? They should've just created 2 separate Muslim countries in 1947.

East Pakistan enjoyed more developments during Ayub Khan rule then any other regime in the history of united Pakistan. Baitul-Mukkaram, the national Masjid of Bangladesh was build during his tenure.

He flipped on East Pakistani because East Pakistani supported for Farima Jinnah over him.

The first Cadet College in Bd (the then East Pakistan) was founded during his tenure.

I thought the same. Wish we had paid more attention towards east Pakistan.

He was somewhat popular among the older generations I think. People talk of the rule of law prevailing in the country during his time.

There wont be any good relation with Pakistan as long as there are people like idune, khair_ctg, kalumiah. These people are constantly keeping the old wound fresh.
