Really? So what Russia and Iran is doing shows that Syria is showing weakness and desperation then? And doesn't matter about debt forgiveness when Russia could have just left the base, but yet Syria is willing to let them have it.

Syria has very real and present existential threats and are actively at war, so need help from Allies. Philippines, on the other hand, are willing to whore and sell out their independence because China build a few artificial islands, on Chinese territory, that they mistakenly believe are theirs. Well looks like what the Filipinos are doing is what Syria is doing which is in need of allies of very real and present threats like China which claims all of South China Sea all the way to the Philippines shores. Whether you think they are mistakenly believe its theirs or not.

China getting control of the SCS is directed at eroding US hegemony in Asia. I know it. You know it. But dumb Pinoys are willing to become USA's human meat shield.

The only way China can erode U.S. hegemony is to conquer half the Pacific Ocean to Hawaii. Since U.S. warships and planes still go through SCS, you ain't doing anything. Ironically, some Chinese posters believes China has no intention of preventing U.S. warships and planes from going through SCS, I disagree.

China only needs to erode US hegemony in Asia. China doesn't care if US planes and warships sail through SCS. Stopping freedom of navigation in SCS was never their goal. China wants control of SCS to prevent US being able to blockade and control trade routes vital to Chinese national interests.

Trust me, controlling SCS is not going to prevent blockade if there is a shooting war. And considering most nations in Asia are hostile to China trying to control SCS, trade be the least of its problem when dealing with a blockade.

Sure sure, we tried that once with Japan in belief they wouldn't start a war with the U.S. when we moved some ships to Hawaii. Look what happened.

Also is it possible can you do something to the post #114. I mean if my post was deleted, then I don't see why his post stands.

You are quite funny, on the first post, you have indicated China want a fight in SCS and on the second post, you make a 180 and said China don't want war..........
