Agreed. Too much is at stake here if the US does go to war with Iran, including Israel. Iran for sure would be able to deal out massive levels of damage to Israel before going down. War is certainly a very costly option over here.

For sending Saudi Arabia to oblivion,Iran doesn't need high-end technology,just some missiles hitting oil structures.KSA without oil means a complete useless deserted wasteland.So stopping oil exports from Persian Gulf means sending U.S and EU economies to oblivion.

Jihad is of course important in Islam, but it isn't something to be afraid of by any means. It means self-defence and struggle against evil and oppression in the world; not only oppression against Muslim people, but against any people. It has nothing to do whatsoever with occupying other nations' lands or killing people. The Syrian revolution has already failed, the difference between Iraq and Iran is that of one letter now. Afghanistan is cozying with Iran and Afghans in general have a much negative opinion towards Saudis - OBL is their icon of understanding Saudis.
