Guys, how's about creating a thread/sub-forum solely at warfare roleplay gaming? We can figure out the rules and nitty gritties later but how's the idea?

We can invite seniors like @jhungary and @Joe Shearer and our very own @fatman17 and have a massively detailed fictional roleplay, see how they'd construct their militaries and how they'd use them?

Other rookies can jump in too.

What do you think?

I think this can be more fun than Naswar corner at least for a segment of the PDFers.

We can make the limitiation of not having nukes :) I think we've serious gamers over here, love, they know what I'm talking about.

Game will end before start, because first weapon internet generals will use will be nuke

I think it can be a great way to learn about military planning or how these things go down.

What do you guys think @Neptune @AUSTERLITZ

Cool - Will there be any role of Supreme Leader? :undecided:

If enough people come in I think we can ask for a mod for this or it it's only seniors then I can mod it in the senior's section where I've mod powers.

i'm cool wit it. But it never was like a game. I think it'll just encounter members taste of military interests. For example:

No matter mission's purpose, let's say there's a MH-60S mission to be conducted on seas. ASW, SuW, HIRF, (C)SAR, maintainance...etc. you name it, doesn't matter. All those things require plannings that they'll take hours and maybe days upon their scale. During the mission; communications, actions, systems...etc. They're much more complicated than they seem. When we describe it at games, we'll have to take out those details, that it won't be much different than using the Editor of a strategy game.

@JonAsad @jhungary what do you say

A excellent idea in theory but very hard in practice, you will need somebody that is well hearsed in boardgame rules. Also u will need a platform that progresses the game itself and is vissible to all.I don't think we have such a specialist itself.
What can be done,or more feasible i think is pick one historical battle and then ask from the viewers how they would have tried to win it.Compare theirs and then reveal how it was actually fought.Thats the easiest way i could think of.
Of course if we can actually pull of such a game/borrow one from the net it would be epic.

My little brother and I developed such a game. I think the rules can be implemented here as well. It relies on points, more a turn based strategy.

is it gonna be single person shooter or third person or strategy type ???
