It shows 42851, guests. Now thats highly unlikely. Most probably they are bots.

Not sure why they decided to start attacking the server now. (Webmaster has confirmed that someone is attacking the site).

Why now, after Bin Laden was taken out?

I think someone is celebrating.

The site is under attack and will be slow at times, but at least it will be up. We are in the process of making the site seamless while it is continually attacked.

heY i am on that list but i was not able to login for 24hrs. And site was unable to open for that 24hrs.
It had just started to open for about half hrs

I think webmaster should add recaptcha in registration as lot of faltu people are registring.

It seems like a Denial of service attack on the server.

Atleast showing all the symptoms of a DDoS attack
ie.
slow network performance.
Unavailability of a particular web site.
Inability to access any web site.
Dramatic increase in the number of spam emails received/number of Bots leeching.

The Admin on Australian defence network said that he got mail from World Defence Network and all the defence websites connected to WDN came under attack by some guy who likes to call himself Khantastic.
