PCB, CSA, SLC and BCB against proposals - Zaka Ashraf

Well not atleast in india...BCCI earns more than whores and we support the proposal...
And you guys should play cricket for the love of cricket...
We should play cricket? Its India which involve politics in cricket and stopped playing with Pakistan. Why would you expect from us to play for the love of cricket while your board wants to play for the love of money :azn:

Why not ? :D

Have we rejected the offer to play cricket ? No , we have merely rejected the offer to play cricket on India's terms . You are more than welcome to send your team anywhere to play with Pakistan or invite us to India .

P.S Why were you not playing cricket with us , for such a long time despite the series being long overdue ? Why the sudden love for the game after doing all in your power to destroy it ?

Well thats what BCCI proposed that we play at neutral venue!!!
And most of the pakistani friends are showing their arrogant nature by rejecting the deal and cricket...

Is it valid even now or was it linked to support at ICC meeting ? :D You aren't getting the message right then , this ai'nt what they are saying . Play cricket , sure , but because you want a vote , hell not ! We will see how BCCI sticks to its offer after Pakistan has opposed the proposals at ICC .

  • There will be an opportunity for all Members to play all formats of cricket on merit, with participation based on meritocracy; no immunity to any country, and no change to membership status.

  • A Test Cricket Fund paid equally on an annual basis to all Full Members (except the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Cricket Australia and the England and Wales Cricket Board) will be introduced to encourage and support Test match cricket.

  • A larger percentage from the increasing Associate Members' surplus will be distributed to the higher performing non-Full Members.

  • Mutually agreed bi-lateral FTP Agreements which will be legally binding and bankable and will run for the same period as the ICC commercial rights cycle (2015-2023).

  • Recognition of the need for strong leadership of the ICC, involving leading Members, which will involve BCCI taking a central leadership responsibility.

  • A need to recognise the varying contribution of Full Members to the value of ICC events through the payment of 'contribution costs'.

  • The establishment of an Executive Committee (ExCo) and Financial & Commercial Affairs Committee (F&CA) to provide leadership at an operational level, with five members, including BCCI, CA and ECB representatives. Anybody from within the Board can be elected to Chair the Board and anybody from within ExCo and F&CA can be elected to Chair those Committees. With the ICC undergoing a transitional period that includes a new governance structure and media rights cycle, this leadership will be provided for two years from June 2014 by: a BCCI representative to Chair the ICC Board, a CA representative to Chair the ExCo and an ECB representative to Chair the F&CA.

  • A new company will be incorporated to tender future commercial rights for ICC events. There will be three major ICC events in each four-year cycle, including the ICC Champions Trophy which will replace the ICC World Test Championship.

  • ICC will utilise a more efficient operating model for all ICC events, with a simplified accounting model across ICC income and expenditure to help better manage ICC administrative and event costs.

No mention of veto, no immunity from relegation, 5 member exec committee, after initial 2 years, any member of exec committee can be elected to be top dog, legally binding bi-lateral arrangements. And the actual amounts each gets still to be negotiated.

A massive climbdown by the Big 3.

This is not far short of being a decent outcome for all.

Precisely , now how is it being perceived and claimed as some massive victory and BCCI getting its way at ICC is not understandable , at least for me .

LOL...thats just a board meetin man...
You should wait for some time to know the outcome...

Then what???

People have to realize that 80% of cricket money is generated from India. Influence comes with money and not by forming useless 'blocks'. Until the time India generates majority of the money, its influence will stay.

Mate without ICC India is nothing and if BCCI feel that it is bigger then ICC then quit ICC and run cricket by its own and ICC put banned of players to play in India and its IPL

Agree with you...please do an ip search...

india, england, australia who command 80% of the revenues are with the proposal...
Oppsing it just for the ego is not good for pakistan...
Does these people even know what are they opposing...
As if pakistan has support of ICC all these days...
I am sure if BCCI comes to power, it will try to be good to sub continent...

If same thing is applied in every sport governing body then Indian will never play soccer, tennis, basketball, watersports, and Indians are not allowed in Olympics as they are not even in top 10. SAY ALL HAIL TO BCCI AND ALL ITS BLOODY CRICKET POLITICS
