AI doesn't have its own catering service. They usually send out tenders which I believe are for 3-4years contract to different catering services, to try and find someone to provide meal for their flights.

Don't be silly.....Indian Airline gets its food from Indian suppliers. You don't expect Westerners to supply Air India with Indian Food !
