i think pakistan should actively work for pashtunistsn...about 26 million pashtuns live in pakistan and 11 million in afghanistan.... due to numerical superiority of pashtuns in pakistan its pakistans right to enter pashtun areas of afghanistan into pakistan....it will end miseries and poverty of pashtuns..... as a pashtun i feel our future only lies with future of pakistan and we pakistani pashtuns must convince our relitives to join our federation for future of our generations

It would be a great idea to incorporate Afghan Pashtuns into a Pakistan administered Pashtunistan. This would end civil war, ethnic conflict and allow the ISAF to concentrate on the other parts of Afghanistan that need rehabilitation and rebuilding after being used as a staging ground to dethrone the Soviet Union.

I just saw Pashtun army just marching on SWAT valley. I am afraid they may take over whole pakistan before pakistan can have a chance of making Pashtunistan a reality.

There's no need to incorporate anything.

Just let Afghanistan alone and let it evolve.

It can be argued that they are not stable. But India argued the same with East Pakistan, so I don't think it's a valid excuse.

Just leave it alone, and work on allowing people to cross the borders, but in a controlled and organized way.

Another thing, you have it the wrong way round, if you let the drone strikes continue, it'll be an independent Pashtunistan that will be created ultimnately. That is what the Ralph Peter's objective is (and of some on here, even "Pakistanis", I might add).

And what's your map for Pakhtunkhwa like? Which areas/provinces in Afghanistan would you merge for your Pakhtunistan?

It's common knowledge that India justified terrorism in East Pakistan by claiming refugees were burdening the country (which was false).

Instability in Afghanistan is just an excuse for intervention.

It is better left alone. It will progress faster than continually propping up these weak puppet governments that noone likes. All the Soviets did was send the country back 1,000 years, all the Americans have done is hit the reset switch.

4 god sake what are you trying to say BILL LONGLEY....people in afghanistan are fierce and soverign that is the problem with WHITE WESTERN people...they look at geographics not demographics....i mean you can just tell them hey boys from tmorrow you guys are PAKTHUNISTAN...and they would thank you for it....no sir!!!!!!... afghans were never occupied and can't ever be occupied...or made to go against there will..if they wanted to join pakistan they would have in 1997-1999....when taliban were friendly towards its easternly neighbour!!!!
