These people are protesting against the circumstances in FATA and tribal areas mainly. Pashtuns doing well in all fields in Pakistan doesn't the small minority that feels neglected shouldn't speak out against it

army wont withdraw unless fata has decided to break away fom pakistan but as long as its the part of paksitan army wont withdraw. What kind of an idiot one has to be to suggest army withdrawal where army had sacrificed 5000-6000 of their men to clear up these areas .should they allow same terrorists to come back and gather up again setting up their terror factories in the region? And all of that after those terrorists had caused deaths of 60,000-70,000 pakistanis?

And no army wont withdraw because the terrorists who sneak in from these areas carry out blasts in all corners of pakistan whether its lahore, pindi, islamabad or karachi so cut this out.

And by the army withdrawal will happen but for that there has to come more stability and civilian govs control shud be strengthened. Its not that army wants to be stationed there ,it is a burden on defence budget and is simply excessive usage of huge manpower in just one small region.

God knows where these people go . How can govt track them down. Hundred die in Afghanistan, crossing Iran border for Europe, boat capsize etc etc .... How a govt can locate such people. All is due to no education. Actually , at the end of every suicide attack they media found a pashtun kid. Thousands of extremist seminaries establish in FATA or Pashtun region. This is whole belt is infested . TTP headquarter in FATA mountains. How much army can do ??

The movement is gaining momentum so better to meet there demands...before it creates anarchy or spread into other areas..
Army should stay on borders and leave the internal security to government ...Its not there job ..They have done there part

A local rough estimate says 15,000 you may add thousands or so more. After a huge campaign they managed to come up with this crowed. Which includes Local, other Pashtuns from all regions of the province, AFGHAN refugees, Local Peshawar TRANSPORT mafia who's business is at risk after introduction of Metro and other transport means. Keep in mind transport mafia has huge share of tribals and AFghans with big investment.

If you start quivering in your boots just because every jumped up guy with a grievance managed a jalsa we would never get anything done.

They are going to do.....what? Start an insurgency? The Army broke the last ones back. A nationwide bombing campaig? The Security forces are onto them? Get India to invade? How? THis is not 1000 mile away BD and the nuclear dimension changes things.

Even ANP won't touch these folks.

The simple answer is that Tribals have lived with this idea of being fierce warriors who have "never been conquered" (the later can be disproven with a simple reading of a history book). The Taliban and later the Pakistan Army and Airforce have administered such an asskicking that it has blown their entire way of life and ideals sky high. Change has been forced to them at a barrel of a gun and at the business end of a PGM. Its going to lead to frustrations. Not unexpected.

Total media blackout there is no coverage so cant be media , did the campaingers went door door !!?? Technically not possible .. Why such huge no of local pushtuns are taking the opposite side .. there is more to this

Too late now, that should have been nipped im the bud right then and the establishment step in to give a very public punishment to rao anwar.

Now, its about fixing FATA overnight and the terror issues while still dealing with a nationalist Pashtun movement.
