MULTAN: Disgruntled president of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Makhdoom Javed Hashmi on Saturday claimed that the former spy chief, Lt Gen (R) Ahmed Shuja Pasha had once told him during a telephonic conversation that he would not spare PM Nawaz Sharif, Chaudhry Nisar and Khwaja Asif, ARY News reported.
Addressing a press conference at his residence here, Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said that the former DG ISI, Ahmed Shuja Pasha had once told him that he would not spare PM Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and the Defense Minister khwaja Asif. “In response of which, I had requested him not to do anything”, added Hashmi.
He said that this the first instance in the history of
Pakistan that the military saved democracy in the state.
The estranged PTI leader said none of the PTI lawmakers including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, wants his resignation to be accepted. He said this is why that the PTI members did not visit the chamber of the Speaker National Assembly, despite he had called them.
He demanded the Government of
Punjab not to make mockery of the
flood-affectees, for these resourceful people fulfill others’ need for food through farming, adding that they should not be humiliated by sending a single truck of relief goods as charity.
Hashmi also demanded the Federal Government to stop placing containers everywhere and to give people a chance to speak freely, by constructing Hyde parks all over the country like the one in UK.
