If Godse is a bigot , then also know that there are many in this country who still admire him and are thankful for what he has done.What was going on at that time in the country required that men desperate for their country , kill their own. Read some books on the political and social conditions under which Godse killed Gandhi.India won freedom bcoz of Hitler and his madness (read patriotism). Otherwise Gandhi would have lead us through another century of imperialism.Lucky that we won our freedom in 1947 . But Gandhi was advocating policies and stances that would have crippled the nation in future. Even his own congress prodigies were finding it difficult to deal with him.Gandhi is a great man - a man of Ideals not practicalities .

Of course Godse killed Gandhi which, as I said earlier, was a very very wrong thing to do but how does that mean that Godse did not love his country?

The fact that Hitler was bad does not mean that he did not love Germany.

So Godse was patriot as netaji was but netaji did not kill ghandi over hi differences with him but godse did.If godse is a patriot then maoist are patriot too and kashmiri separatists are patriot too.
