Judges have to bear the pressure, they shouldn't have taken up the case in first place if tackling pressure was beyond them, judges want a scapegoat to face repercussions of the verdict. If JC was the only option then why did SC waste time on proceedings in the name of arguments, it should have formulated ToRs and be done with it.

There's nothing which JC can investigate vis a vis Sharifs -- NAB, SEC, FBR, FIA being arms of JC work under the influence of one who's directly accused in the case. BVI authorities will never respond to the request for cooperation, let alone verification, what happened to probe into Panama scam in India is in front of us.

Burden of proof is on Sharif, failure to provide evidence should mean something. IK opted best option available to him, JC won't serve any purpose.

But see, there are three questions from judges:

1 - Maryam's beneficial ownership: This couldn't be proved with the existing documents. One document submitted by PTI was challenged.

2 - Maryam's dependency: Inconclusive as the defense council stated that she is included as dependent in her husband's tax returns. Defense has yet to present it.

3 - Money trail: Inconclusive, defense said that they are ready to bring the documents but the record is not available with foreign entities due to limited retention period.

I don't know how the judges will decide based on the above!

IF, (God forbid) IF decision comes in favor of Nawaz Sharif, somehow, at the end of this case(no, plzz no) then be ready for the repurcussions...I will be venting all my frustration here..and members here will have to bear with tht... it will be nothing short of a huge melodrama...pata nahi kiya hoga..even I don't know yet but jo hoga, bura hoga

Bhai, read the newspapers, you will know that judges specifically raised concern on sufficiency of evidences.

There is no money trail whatsoever..... So, they are accepting the accusation.

The only issue is that SC doesn't have the balls to go against PMLN. Military aur Supreme Court ka jamhoori bacha hai. If PPP's prime minister was in place, hell would have broken in this case and also in national security breach.

now, you are making us double minded abt the commission..

Anyways..it all depends on the will of judges.. if judges have the will..to give verdict, based on their conscience and a verdict tht will show, justice seen to be done..then they can..still give verdict, even in the current scenario...

but if, they don't have the will..then they can bring 1000 articles to support lack of technical evidence argument and hence clean chit to PM

best will be..if judges say, tht since contradictions in PM statements are clear, esp, parliament speech which has been declared political statement....judges should themselves or forward the case to ECP to begin proceedings for article 62,63... and also from a commission to further investigate charges of money laundering

I so want to see this whole holy family of Nawaz to get appropriate justice of their wrongdoings. But after reading judges remarks, I am now very concerned myself. What should I do except

One can't simply challenge anything without evidence which outrightly annul what is being challenged, mossack fonseca is challenged on the basis of a document which is inconclusive in itself. So what happened to burden to prove being on Sharif? If SC can't get this ascertained then it should surrender its inquisitorial powers conferred to it trough 184(3). Why doesn't it direct Hussain to produce documents which shows ownership in his name? I can't own company which is not registered in my name, gone are the days when bearer certificates would hide name of beneficial owner, since 2004 every certificate issued by BVI has name of beneficial owner. Bublo should be directed with strict warning of consequences to provide certificates/ memorandum articles of association.

2 - Maryam's dependency: Inconclusive as the defense council stated that she is included as dependent in her husband's tax returns. Defense has yet to present it.

If defense says so he's lying through his teeth. Maryam herself in her written reply stated that she was independent & she filed her tax returns independently.

3 - Money trail: Inconclusive, defense said that they are ready to bring the documents but the record is not available with foreign entities due to limited retention period.

Failure to prove money trail means there's no money trail. Whole argument is flats were purchased in 2006, right? If we buy this argument then we should also buy not so factual fact that UK courts are rubberstamps, not only the courts the registry department is also bane because it actually charged the flats and then removed charge because parties reached to settlement.

Above referred certificates will also solve this mystery because dates are also printed on them. Why court doesn't want to use it's inquisitorial powers, counsel for petitioners should ask.
