No actually she did the right thing..

First of all, we should understand that both trust deeds are backdated and signed only after Panama case has started.

So Maryam signed the first deed in 2016. But she put 02-Feb-2006 as the date of signature. On this date, she was in Jeddah. Now in order to make the deed legit, she had to request the notary public to put 04-Feb-2006 because if the notary puts the same date, the authenticity will be questioned as to how the deed could be signed by both Maryam (in Jeddah) and notary public (in London) on the same date.

But Allah bara karsaaz hai. They found out (by spying) what PTI legal team was discussing (that the trust deed was not related to Nescoll and Neilson). So in order to present the deed on the next hearing (to avoid time lag of sending the trust deed from here to London), she asked someone in London to fake her signature on the second deed, get it notarized in London, and send it back to Pakistan. But naturally, Maryam's signatures couldn't be matched on both (one was done by Maryam in Lahore, pretending to be in Jeddah, other one was done in London by someone else).

This is what Shaikh Sahib's argument in my opinion.

Do we have the copy of both trust deeds? I laughed at "Qatari Plane" more than the argument..

I could only understand that:

1 - Signatures of Maryam on both trust deeds do not match.
2 - This is because on both deeds, Maryam signed on 02-Feb-2006. Attestation was done on 04-Feb-2006. Maryam was in Jeddah, while the attestation was done in London. However, since they found out in the earlier hearing that they have missed the trust deed of Nescoll and Neilson from submission (which was actually not there in the first place), they asked someone in UK to sign it, get it attested and send it to Pakistan. So the signature of the person who signed on the deed that was later submitted does not match with the signature of Maryam on the first deed, which was actually signed by Maryam. Due to shortage of time, she asked someone in UK to sign on the second deed on her behalf and get it attested on the back date.

Yeah I have got copies of both the trust deeds and signature of Maryam Nawaz match in my opinion. I don't have iota of doubt that deeds are fake, forged and signed same day. Actually Maryam tweeted both the deeds together on same date, 15 Nov 2016, so the notion that 2nd deed was forged hastily is wrong. Both the deeds were notarized on 7th Nov 2016, appostilled on 8th Nov 2016.

I think I have mixed up notary public with the solicitor who also signed the deeds.

I think what Shaikh Rasheed mentioning, the dates of signatures by Maryam and Solicitor in London. I may be wrong. But I have no doubt, Shaikh Sahib presented something very interesting...

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesman Fawad Chaudhry said Maryam Nawaz got a profit worth Rs.19.6 million on a BMW vehicle that she received in 2006.

Talking to media outside the court, Fawad Chaudhry said that Maryam is dependent on her father as her Income tax return was ‘zero’, adding all her expenses were afforded by her father. “Her travelling expenses surpassed her income,” Fawad added.

He said the court rejected trust deed submitted by Akram Sheikh, saying it would not be accepted until its registeration.

@PakSword please make a note that no deed is registered or enforced in any court of law, nor any restrictions were requested in HR registry department. Also notice that companies are registered with BVI authorities whereas trust is declared under English laws.

why didn't Naeem bukhari..mention this fact in the court..tht Maryam paid zero taxes, and hence she is a dependent.. because judges kept asking Naeem bukhari to prove tht Maryam is dependent on her father, but he didn't mention this..i guess and he was unable to convince judges in this matter.. infact, on this, Sheikh Rashid's argumnets later, were more effective

Pay £30 or so per notary and any tom dick and harry can get anything like this FCO-UK seal and signatures done .. even I can become a beneficial owner of Nescol etc (for the sake of producing a document) and get the FCO-UK seal & signature on it ... requirement for this document is nothing but a recognised authority signing (such as a qualified solicitor, barrister etc). It could be a complete lie and FCO-UK would still seal and sign as they do not verify!!!


What's more interesting is that there is no formal seal of the solicitor firm on these deeds. Just a stamp and signature. I have had documents notarized this way but the solicitors have always put this melted wax seal of the Law Firm on them along with certification stickers. Maybe these lot faked the solicitors signatures and stamp ...
