Nasir Khosa may excuse himself from the caretaker CM Punjab slot after the controversy: Sources

LAHORE - Sources have claimed that newly nominated Chief Minister Punjab Nasir Khosa reportedly may excuse himself from the appointment of the caretaker CM Punjab after the controversy erupted over his name yesterday.

Sources have claimed that he may not be interested in the new assignment after PTI withdrew his name for the CM Punjab slot.

However earlier PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif has said that the summary of appointment of caretaker chief minister of the province has been forwarded to the governor and could not be withdrawn.*

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government reportedly said that it would continue with Nasir Khosa as a caretaker Chief Minister and would not accept PTI’s decision.

Outgoing Chief Minister Shabaz Sharif said that provincial ministry of law had forwarded the summary of caretaker CM to the Punjab governor, who would sign it midnight on Thursday, adding that once the summary forwarded to the governor, cannot be returned.

He further said that the summary is signed only after the completion of five-year constitutional term of the outgoing government.

Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has withdrawn the name of Nasir Saeed Khosa for the post of caretaker Chief Minister in the interim setup.

Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Mahmood ur Rashid said that PTI will propose a new name in a few hours and consult with Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Who says that a neutral person is required as CTCM Punjab!

Establishment needs to cull its own created, nurtured and empowered monster in Punjab that has gone completely Rabid to save its leadership's looted wealth amassed abroad.

This monster has proved that it is ready to sell its soul to the devil against Pakistan to save its loot.

This is about time that this establishment washes its hand of the filth of establishment of the past that has damaged Pakistan to the core by supporting PMLN.

PMLN shouldn't be allowed to win from Punjab anymore. This is the plea of Pakistan, begging for its socio-economic survival. Any attempt to give any fair and free room for Sharif Mafia and their GOONS to survive means killing any hope of revival of Pakistan. Period.

People must stop political correctness lallo chappo and stand and be counted for Pakistan. PMLN leadership is poison for Pakistan. Nothing more - nothing less.

It is not in the hands of PTI or anybody else.

It is not in any party's hands to defeat PMLN because it was not in the hands of PMLN to keep wining from Punjab on its own...ever.

A top civil servant letting corruption happen under his watch even if he's not doing it himself is not honourable, respectable or honest!

We need to reassess our meanings of these words with Quran in front of us.

Not necessary... there are some exceptions too.. Former bureaucrats ( even pro PTI) and onePTI official who worked with Nasir Khosa praised him for his honesty...

Plus he belongs to a respectable family.. his both other isblings, Tariq Khosa ans Nasor Khosa are extremely honest... so ye bhi unn hi ki tarah honge..

TAriq Khosa was DG FIA in zardaris tenure.. does tht make him corrupt too?

Belonging to respectable family means nothing, there are examples of uncles, brothers and son of even prophets to negate this argument. And bureaucrats are acutely more corrupt than the politicians because politicians can't do corruption of single penny unless a bureaucrat is partner in crime or close his/her eyes and let it happen which is also crime. And this is also fact that only corrupt or comprised person can get onto the key positions while honest are sidelined to less important places.

What have you been reading if not my posts since the Panama case started? This is my stand from the get go...

People are only waking up to this principled stance in the face of recent naked anti state activities of pro India entities.

Sharifs being one of those entities since their exile in Saudia - everything became Halal to them - including openly doing business with Indians and Israelis.

The information is documented in the stacks of files obtained by JIT on their Saudi Steel Mill. People of Pakistan are still naive.

It's only business after all and Sharifs have long gone beyond Pakistan...they are now global business animals... Still inept but reveling in Pakistan's loot... hand in glove with Corrupt Saudi Royalty in hot waters these days and India's business tycoons.

The single biggest CPEC project to date worth Billions of Dollars and away from anything CPEC is Orange line Train in Lahore, seething with Corruption and commission - Indians must be hoping that Pakistan keeps spending CPEC money on such isolated, corruption riddled, local projects that have nothing to do with the economic corridor. The more such misuse, the better for India that government here postpones actual Economic infrastructure and industrial network building in Pakistan.

Why didn't PMLN spend the billions for Orange Line train to start laying Train Tracks from Gwadar towards Karachi or the North and upgrade existing rail network?

Enough is enough. Pakistan must get rid of Sharifs for good.
