Ni ni,, It is not just Sahrif. Wasay b agr neutral ho ka bhe dekhain n sochain tu it is pretty obvious. NS and Co. are ALWAYS working against Establishment. ALWAYS!
Yet..establishment ALWAYS sympathises with them.. Chahay woh kuch bhi karein.. COAS ka plane hi jack karein..dawn leaks larein..kuch bhi karein..after initial setbacks..they are always given favors by establishment and safe exits... Is dafa bhi yehi hua.. DQ tu hogaye..lekin jahan se asal trouble shuru hota hai.criminal references..is waqt un se leniency ho rahi hai..tht too..after sharifs are threatening judges, SC and state of Pakistan..
I believe that a bed time story can explain this predicament of love-hate to some extent.
Once upon a time, their was a mother who's beloved son gradually and over the years, turns out to be a criminal and a Godfather.
The mother slaps him around and tries to keep him in check from the beginning but he finds ways to deceive the mother and continues his merry criminal ways.
She even throws him out a few times but after the dust settles a bit, she welcomes him back home, believing that he is a changed man.
Still the criminal son stubbornly marches on his chosen path, accumulating massive ill gotten wealth, abusing and using all his powers.
Each time he got back he became restless due to the constant pressure of the mother on him to go straight and this time too he got tired of the checks on his freedom and decided to turn the tables on his own mother (for crying out loud.)and shakes the very foundation of the house itself.
That was the last straw that broke the camels back so to say. It was a shock for the mother who despite having so much love for her criminal son, decides to teach him a lesson by simply removing her protection from him.
This visible lack of patronage allowed cases against him to gather strength. The law of the land found him guilty and throws him out of his seat of power.
The law of the land and the system kept biting itself to check if this was a dream or a reality that something so unbelievable has really happened. The law decides to move ahead with caution on this new path of justice.
The son who was so confident of his power that he couldn't accept his being found guilty and accuses his mother of being behind the conspiracy against him by the law.
The son accused the mother of trying to teach him a lesson. So he goes around town protesting, crying and asking people :
Mujhay kyun Nikala?
Mujhay kyun Nikala?
Mujhay kyun Nikala?
The mother seemed perplexed a bit by his condition and despite his scathing outbursts and threats, decides to go easy on him still.
She decides that it is punishment enough for him that other cases against him be concluded and his assets be confiscated but decides to let him run away from the law and not let him go behind bars.
He has been, still is and forever will be, after all, a Son non the less.
