Phir kia reh jayega..verdict main? Yehi tu sharif family chahti thee.. Yehi sab se ziada woh chahtay thay.. Disqualification ka tu unhien pata hi tha ke reverse nahi hoga..lekin monitoring ka scope restrict karaana hi chahtay thay..woh karaa liya ...

aisa kuch nahi hona ... ye sab qayas araiyan hain ... kehnay aur honay main bohot farq hai

i say they are the custodians of justice ... they have a better understanding of law & the crisis in country ... let them play their moves meanwhile we just have to watch with patience .... it's not about nawaz only now ... it's about bringing institutions back on their feet

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau is under tremendous pressure to file an appeal in the Supreme Court of Pakistan against the Sharifs in Hudaibiya Paper Mills case.

A credible source confided to this correspondent that early this week a meeting was held in an office in Islamabad where a few senior officials of NAB were invited. They were reprimanded as to why NAB has not yet prepared the appeal in the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case against the Sharifs in the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Venue and other details of the meeting including the names of those who were present there are not being disclosed.

The Hudaibiya Paper Mills case appeal, if filed, will extend the scope of the ongoing probe to Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shahbaz. The elder Sharif, former prime minister Nawaz, already stands disqualified while his children have also been booked in NAB references.

Sources in NAB say although the Bureau has yet to decide whether it will file the appeal or not, in the given situation it is under pressure to file the appeal. According to one source, the appeal in Hudabiya may be filed in a fortnight time.

Mujhe sab se ziada fikr monitoring judge walay issue ki hai.. Infact mujhe tu lag raha hai..ke damage is already done on tht issue..even agar verdict main uss ke baaray main ya monitoring ko restrict karnay ke baaray main mazeed kuch..nahi bhi likha jaata... Tab bhi aaj SC ke remarks se damage hochuka hai.....Aap ka kia khyal hai?

JIT ki tareef wala hissa ..shayad remove na karein..lekin uss ke hawaaly se clarification de dein...shayad ke inn remarks se..trial court affect na ho..something like tht?

Similarly in the case of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and another v. President of Pakistan and others (PLD 1998 SC 388) the constitutional issue regarding dissolution of the National Assembly by the President of Pakistan had been decided by this Court with reference to different grounds of dissolution including the allegation of rampant corruption but later on it had been clarified by this Court in Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto v. President of Pakistan and 2 others (PLD 2000 SC 77) through a review petition that the constitutional aspects of the case had been decided by this Court only upon a tentative appraisal of the material produced on the issue of corruption, the conclusions arrived at by the Court were restricted only to the constitutional context of dissolution of the National Assembly and, therefore, the observations recorded in the constitutional matter were not to be treated as proof of the charges for any other purpose. I would, therefore, like to clarify in the present case in advance that the declarations and the observations made by me in the constitutional context shall not influence or prejudice the inquiry, investigation or prosecution of any criminal activity or conduct involved in the matter and that the Accountability Court to be seized of the case shall adjudicate upon the criminal aspect of this case without being influenced or prejudiced by anything observed or done by this Court in the present proceedings.

This SC will be extremely cautious in any verdict/comments as they want to make it foolproof by not providing any opportunity to be attacked by Sharif Mafia.

Re Monitoring Judge; the role was/is supervisory due to failure of state institutions; his role to be termed as Strict or Lenient is subjective, and can be argued what is strict or soft for years without proving what is termed as strict or soft.

Being Right is the key thing; and he will be - without an iota of doubt until something "magical" happens - again!

This time, there will not be overly dramatic remarks, comments etc., for a numerous valid reasons.

Yehi tu.. Jab Justice Khosa bhi inn ki baaton aur trap main aagaye hain..tu aagay hum khud samajhdaar hain.. Iss liye hi tu itnaa dukh horaha hai...

All judges have been following the law to the letter and always gave as much opportunity to the defence as possible under the law. Why would they change their approach now?

This is Panama case season five, and you guys are repeating almost the same thought process, doubts and apprehensions for the fifth time.

We have been through a lot and still we share the same state of mind like before, shows the regrettable history of our judicial system and the preceding lot of judges responsible for it.

If these judges haven't proved themselves worthy of respect then why are we even hopeful for a fair outcome of any references?

I don't think they will abandon their judgment in a dark ally, there is more at stake then meets the eye, the very reputation and integrity of the Judges themselves.

Will they let it be written in the history books that they arrived at a verdict in haste and overlooked the defendants rights? I don't think so.

Will they explain their judgment further? Yes indeed.

Yes.. But judges said tht monitoring judge..trial par asar andaaz nahi honge.. But in their earlier verdict they had written this:

The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan is requested to nominate an Hon’ble Judge of this Court to supervise and monitor implementation of this judgment in letter and spirit and oversee the proceedings conducted by the NAB and the Accountability Court in the above matters.

Tday they restricted the role of monitoring judge by saying ke monitoring judge..kuch nahi karein ge.. Trial par bhi influence kisi tarah se nahi honge.. Only broad guidelines.... In effect they were saying tht monitoring judge only had to ensure time line of proceedings..

While in their verdict they siad tht monitoring judge had to ensure tht verdict is implemented in letter and spirit and also oversee proceedings conducted by NAB AND Accountability court..

So surely..meeting timeline was not the only job of monitoring judge, as per original verdict.. But this is what they were implying today.. Who will ensure tht NAB doesnt play tricks and deliberately hide evidence? Doesnt this come in..ensuring tht verdict is implemented in letter and spirit? But today judges had a totally different interpretation of..what monitoring judge will do..which was totally opposite..to what they had originally written...

Its like..th totally restricted the role of monitoring judge today... And this monitoring judge was the most crucial aspect of this verdict.. Sharifs knew tht they couldnt get disqualification reversed.. What they hoped for..is to ...get relief on this monitoring aspect.. But now..even if...judges doesnt reverse their decision..on monitoring judge..but effectively restrict it..to only ensuring/ meeting time lines..and nothing else....then ..this is the best relief PML N could hope for..
