LAHORE: Palestine has reinstated its ambassador to Pakistan after he was recalled for attending a rally organised by the Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) to protest the US decision on Jerusalem, Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) chairman said on Sunday.

PUC chairman Maulana Tahir Ashrafi told Geo News he had requested Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and the country’s Chief Justice to reinstate Walid Abu Ali, in view of the ambassador’s services rendered to Pakistan.

The Palestinian president has reinstated Ambassador Walid Abu Ali and he will return to Pakistan on Wednesday to resume his duty, Ashrafi said.

Walid Abu Ali was recalled for violating diplomatic norms by attending a mass DPC rally held in the garrison city of Rawalpindi last week to protest the US decision of recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

The spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants had issued a statement saying, “The ministry considers the participation of our Ambassador in Pakistan [Walid Abu Ali] in a mass solidarity rally with Jerusalem held in Rawalpindi on Friday and in the presence of people accused of terrorism as an unintended mistake but not justified. Accordingly, the ministry decided directly, from the sovereignty of the President of the State of Palestine , to summon the Palestinian ambassador to Pakistan immediately.”

Speculations had been rife at the Diplomatic Enclave that the Palestinian ambassador to Pakistan was recalled after he was seen rubbing shoulders with the Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed, declared as a terrorist by the United Nations, at the rally.

Well well maybe they're not so bad after all. Good to see some reciprocity.
Not really. What "reciprocity" did they do? Palestine having a ambassador in Islamabad is not doing us a favour. Every country has one as standard diplomatic protocol. Palestine has already done the damage by first declaring Kashmir cause as terorrist, then saying India is a victim of that terrorism and then siding with India in this tangle. And they did this via a official notification visible to the entire world.

Reciprocity in the circumstances would be if they issued another notification and then stated Palestine apologizes to the Kashmir freedom cause and stands with them in their quest for freedom. This has not been done.

I didn't say they were good. Just not as bad as I originally said. I still know that at the decisive hour they'll abandon us just like the other Arab countries.

I take that back. Palestine has denied reinstating the envoy. Unfortunately it was too good to be true.

"We deny this information. Our ambassador in Pakistan is in Palestine and our position was declared by our official statement which we have published last week," said Palestinian Foreign Ministry, according to ANI.

Pakistaniyon ki 2 pal ki khushi bhi nahi dekhi jaati en Philisteeniyo se! Savage:omghaha:

They already did. As of yet Palestine has not overturned their official notification. The previous notice [pasted above] still stands which effectively declares martyrs like Burhan Wani "terrorists".

To be honest they are just looking after numero uno ~ themselves which actually makes sense. Pakistan needs to start looking after itself first. For instance Pakistani's cite KSA or GCC as great friends but when I ask why they give more jobs to Indians the start justifying it by putting Pakistani's down. Saying things like "oh we are lazy, criminals, under qualified and Indian's are better qualified". This might be true but that means KSA/GCC give Pakistanis no especial treatment. They don't cut any slack for being "friends".

In UK we got flooded with over 3 million Eastern Europeans. I never heard the British saying let us find the best or most qualified workers. Instead they just gave fellow Europeans legal preferance. It did not matter if a Indian electrician was cheaper, bette, nicer, hard worker then a Polish electrician. The Polish got preferance simply for being fellow European. All he did was show his passport and he was in. This is what you call preferance.

But we don't see this preferance extended to Pakistanis by GCC/KSA yet half of Pakistan is in puupy love with them. The reason is GCC/KSA have bought out our ruling elite. You saw how Sharif brothers go running to KSA. Even retired army chiefs are bought out. So it is surprising Pakistan gets treated like this?

A 200 million people nuclear power is at the beck and call of a 30 year old Saudi prince MBS who is Trumps acolyte.
