Didn't get what your mean, Latter means the second option, you said "If i had the resources to either build energy generation projects or plant trees i would always opt for the latter" so latter means plant trees. if thats the case then how can you say its foolish and still prefer to plant trees

Forests are really good for any country and the whole world. I visit Malaysia to stay there in a forest for a weekend with friends, it is so refreshing and calming experience. It can cure one's insanity. I appreciate this step, you should plant a lot of trees as it is a investment.

Planting the right trees is very important. Trees can completely change the aesthetic perception of a place. Parks and neighbourhoods with carefully planted trees are consider most beautiful just because of them. Ugly tress bring down the property values in an area. I got an idea of it when my uncle sold and purchased houses. these kind of trees were extensively planted where values were higher.

governments should also go for trees with brightly coloured flowers or tall graceful trees.

So KPK again in international news but this time because of making KPK greener and safer for environment not because of terrorism.
When I heard about billion tree tsunami i was stunned to see that a province like KPK is tackling climate change but this project shows the commitment of IK for a greener and prosperous Pakistan. I believe that he will not only make naya kpk but a naya Pakistan too.

We could have even constructed 2-3 Artificial Lakes in Baluchistan / Sindh for extra drinkable water
by channeling water out to Artificial Lakes, Releasing excessive water to artificial lakes

However water conservation efforts have been derailed in country

Also if we had ample forest average temperature in Pakistan would drop by 2-3 degrees due to positive effect of trees on environment

• Pakistan Areas of Baluchistan / Sindh are similar to California state
• KPK region is similar to European provinces in Summer time
• Punjab is blessed with rain and greenery

It is really a sad affair that we can't have proper planning for water conservation and forest creation

Did you read the article in Washington post in which it said that Pakistan needs to plant between 1.5 and 2 trillion saplings to reverse the deforestation since its independence in 1947.

I was wondering can Pakistan plant that much saplings? Do Pakistan has that much space?
