What's new

Pakistan's new FM Bilawal Bhutto receives call from U.S. Secretary of State.

Seems like Pakistan US relationship is back on rails. Biden is an old cold war warhorse. I'm sure he values a good relationship with Pakistan because of the history that he is intimately familiar with.

PS: Bilawal can lose a few pounds. Hard to believe that a well educated and thoroughbred person like him does not value fitness.

His only qualification is he is an off-spring to a corrupt couple called Benazir and Zardari. His only resume is that he was born in a dynasty nothing more.

This is often the most necessary qualification for political leaders in many parts of the world. Dynasty politics is a reality even in developed world. In South Asia especially, the relatively young democracies do not have parties and people who can properly align with ideas across political spectrum. This means that personality or dynastic parties are inevitable. Look at the crowd that the progeny of Sharif is able to pull. Can anyone in PTI besides Imran do the same?:pop:

For that reason alone Imran is an exception and is what sets him apart from all those corrupt dynasties.

Like I said, it is either a dynasty or a populist personality. Imran is 70 already. When he hangs his boots, his followers have to inevitably and begrudgingly turn to dynasties for political leadership. You will need them as much as they need you

The Americans have keen interest in Bilawal. They are grooming a fuedal because he is young and they see a lot of potential for return of investment. Leader of a corrupt dynasty is exactly what the Americans are looking for. Easily bought and bargained. An added bonus is that Americans encourage secterian and ethnic politics in Pakistan. No better place than interior Sindh to start a fire. The meetings that took place between Bilawal and US politicians a while ago are paying dividens.

Whole FM Bhutto saga again. He wants to be PM next, or rather Mr. Fraudiye wants him to be, so he can be President.

Make no mistake. The Americans are going to make sure of it. He is their little fuedal.
Curious about who would you like to see lead Pakistan after Imran retires? 🤔
