I'm not sure about that one. I was unaware any PAF Vipers went down due to birdstrikes.84607 was a bird hit. The pilot made the right decision to eject instead of trying to save the jet, which very well could have led to his death and the loss of the aircraft anyways. Pilot's lives are more precious than aircraft

In both cases, all crew ejected safely, the single-seat was from 11 while the dual seat belonged to No 9.That is all I have been able to gather from online as well, but these could be incorrect as well. I meant to write twin seat but didn't go through. Network problems during transit flights. 701 was a clear one. 607 not sure.PAF lost at least two Vipers due to bird strikes.
