Seven Pakistani universities in Asia's top 300
Seven universities from Pakistan have made it to the top 300 universities in the Times Higher Education’s list of Asia’ University Rankings for the year 2017.
Since its inception in 2004, the Times Higher Education World University Rankings use information provided by the government to issue a list of the world’s best universities based on teaching, research, international outlook and reputation.

The Times Higher Education's (THE) Asia University Rankings 2017publication includes seven Pakistani institutions in the top 300, five of which are new entrants, according to a press release.
Quaid-i-Azam University received the highest ranking among local institutions, placing in the 121-130 cohort, joined by COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, which places in the 141-150 band.
The editor of THE, Phil Baty said, "It is fantastic news that Pakistan has more than tripled its representation in this year’s list of Asia’s best universities, taking seven places, up from two last year. COMSATS Institute of Information Technology is the only new entry to make the top 200 (in the 141-150 band)."

The rise of Indians in corporate world, doesn't have much to do with their engineering or science skills. Indians bring conservative, lean and mean style of working to the table, along with hard-work and down-to-earth-ness, and that is very much in demand across the global corporate world, in these turbulent financial times.
Its funny that, Indians are a huge percentage of IT industry, but their contribution to research and new ideas, is ZERO, Zilch. India, never devised any new programming language, or any operating system, new architectural paradigms or algorithms. Indian IT industry is all about low-skilled service sector, back offices and a large pool of internet coolies.

Pakistan's military industrial base is "better" than India's, said India's Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCOAS) Lieutenant General Sarath Chand, as he "slammed" the performance of ordnance factories at home, Times of India reported.
According to the Indian daily, Chand said on Tuesday that "Pakistan probably has a better industrial base, as far as defence production is concerned, than our country," adding that Pakistan exported more defence equipment than India.
Speaking at the inaugural session of AMICON 2017, a two-day conference organised by the Indian army and the Confederation of Indian Industry, Chand criticised India's ordnance factories for not keeping up with changing technology and not undertaking enough research and development initiatives.
He wondered if the poor functioning of the factories was caused by a "lack of accountability", read the TOI report.
"It is very hard to see ordnance factories changing in the present state. Overall, it has become an unsuccessful method of supporting our defence requirements," observed Chand.
According to the Indian daily, Chand further highlighted the importance of a military industry in times of war, adding that India had been "let down" by "friends [...] whenever the chips have been down."

We all knew Mr. Nair is brainwashed by the Indian media and I am being modest here not using any senile words, just like most of our eastern neighbors. They were given a lopsided, doctored, skewed picture about Pakistan and they believe it...quite gullible on their part.
Pakistan media is much balanced, objective and plural in reporting, hence a better understanding of the situation.

For what ?
There is nothing in Pakistan .Then why should we we go war with them ?
Why should we waste our resources?
And for Pakistan .It is not your nuclear weapons that restrain us .
It is our own objectives that restrain us .Noone waste their resources for fighting a failed statesl.
Now Pakistan is not questioning our national security .
The day when they tried for it then we will do the obvious .

India Army personnel does not have proper food to eat, bullet jackets to protect themselves or machine guns to shoot with. Taking about nukes is totally irrelevant and useless when it comes to Indian theater.
