Indian Air force and Navy both rejected Tejas but it is being imposed on them because India has no money for new fighter jets. Further more India has 1.44 million troops and of them 0.44 million are non combat troops that are just there to perform duties for the rest of 1 million they are just servants and Batmans. India has to pay for their pays as well from it military budget and thus leaving no money for improvement and procurement in Indian Army that is why Rafael deal was made with so much delay it was all because of the money. India is stuck in a ring of burning money because if any politicians will do a job cut in Army he will risk his political seat. there is no one to take this hard decision and it will collapse India one day I am just waiting for it.

Yes India is a big country but if you check most of these sectors India is like 10 times,20 times, 40 times bigger than Pakistan in all these sectors when we have only 6 times the population of pakistan !



You and all world knows where both country standing in the world stage !



You can also ask the same question to China and many other major countries investing billions of dollars on weapons, why they are spending too much money on defense, when poverty is also there or the lecture only applicable to India !

Pakistan's military industrial base is "better" than India's, said India's Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCOAS) Lieutenant General Sarath Chand, as he "slammed" the performance of ordnance factories at home, Times of India reported.

According to the Indian daily, Chand said on Tuesday that "Pakistan probably has a better industrial base, as far as defence production is concerned, than our country," adding that Pakistan exported more defence equipment than India.

Speaking at the inaugural session of AMICON 2017, a two-day conference organised by the Indian army and the Confederation of Indian Industry, Chand criticised India's ordnance factories for not keeping up with changing technology and not undertaking enough research and development initiatives.

He wondered if the poor functioning of the factories was caused by a "lack of accountability", read the TOI report.


"It is very hard to see ordnance factories changing in the present state. Overall, it has become an unsuccessful method of supporting our defence requirements," observed Chand.

According to the Indian daily, Chand further highlighted the importance of a military industry in times of war, adding that India had been "let down" by "friends [...] whenever the chips have been down."

How come this general has courage to speak the truth, most Indians are not used to truth specially if it says anything positive about Pakistan and anything negative about India. Those countries are doing well than India they don't have to buy every bullet from out side they can sustain slow growth but looking at Indian weapons purchase you need a bigger economy than China to sustain that big army because China also domestically produces most of it's budget.

ISRO is not doing good at all with a country like you that needs to develop missile ISRO needs to do better. Your ISRO is not capable of delivering any solid fuel good rockets to India and most of Indian missile are liquid based and silo based missiles which will become useless in the first wave of missile exchange. You only ICBM is liquid fueled. Many countries are scraping their liquid base missiles and ISRO is just perfecting that tech.

SUPARCO priority is to develop solid based rockets for Pakistan we are not engaging them to liquid based easy rockets for space mission. and in solid based rockets Pakistani missile are ranked 3rd in the world and are considered most deadly that is for a reason.
