Pakistani Uncles are once again signing a pact with the devil. They have completely failed to utilise the recent event to shame America and show it's real face to the world. How Pathetic.

Drone attacks and American, Afghan, Indian still continues while uncles in powerfull places bury their heads in the sand.

Time has come to show these ungrateful backstabbers the middle finger. We are not interested in having any kind of cooperation which undermines our interests. Having any sort of relation with the US tantamounts to a suicide mission.

We will focus on our relationship closer to home. The US is a backstabber that doesn't belong to this region, but wants to destroy harmony and peace.

Let these Yanks fight their crappy war. We must continue to work with our regional allies. Fence the border and repatriate the Afghans after the latest extension expires.

Agreeing with you, Pakistan should charge them for their existence in Afghanistan. Make them pay some $10B / year for letting them use your trade routs for supplies. Understand they are hanging with your rope and you can make them pay the much you want.

I am more optimistic about military leadership than political leadership in Pakistan. Military will not offer them any undue and self-sacrificing favours. USA has used up its bucket of favours and there is nothing which can be offered to by the state of Pakistan.

In regards to the US the military is more corrupt than the civilian government. The civilian government is corrupt towards the ME countries.

You need to correct some of your perceptions. We do not have leverage to go corrupt on National Security. No country has that leverage. If you consider, there was an opportunity for military not to act against MQM, TTP or BLA and USA (and our enemies) could've been willing to pay a fortune as a reward for such corruption - but nothing like this happen. CPEC is a second example in which Military is standing against USA and is making this project happen, and third if you ask is Pakistan's refusal to act against Haqqanis.

Are you saying that our National Security advisers aren't corrupt? In which world have you been living in for the last 1.5 decades?? You contradict yourself in the very next sentence by mentioning how corrupt it has been! We have been fighting them on OUR soil! The war has been fought on OUR soil! Why? Because the military has licked US balls in every god damn thing ever since inception. They have been soft on our neighbors. They have put certain Arab country's welfare above their own! Oh and thank f*ck for the country finally growing same balls and initiating the CPEC project from a true friend. About God damn time. But have the threats, drone strikes etc. stopped from the US? What have we said in regards to this or more importantly what have we done? NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. People defend our military as if they're some sort of Gods, but they're the most responsible for the current situation we are in today. You should read my post another time. State runners had opportunity to go corrupt, but they didn't. I've given you three crisp examples which could've rewarded corrupt establishment bzillions, but nothing like that happened. Does this give you a hint? But read on.

Pakistan has suffered a lot, 15 years of darkness were result of sheer nonsense and mistakes. That was a period where Pakistan made compromises but it wasn't result of patriotic corruption. What is the difference? Learn from this real life example. A person suffering from blood sugar went to see a doctor to cure his bleeding foot thumb that wasn't healing after a month. The thumb was incurable and needed to be cut. Doctor looked at the health of the patient, the blood that was already lost and energy he had left in the body, and after considering everything, the doctor recommended to let this foot bleed but improve his health and get healthy to a point where an operation could be conducted, and the patient would survive bleeding and weakness of operation afterwords.

Bleeding Karachi, bleeding Baluchistan, bleeding Fata and corrupt sitting in the Media and National Assemblies. Pakistan had no choice but to compromise and accept bleeding in the last 15 years. That is why Altaf was not nabbed, that is why Indian aggression at the border wasn't responded with force and that is why Pakistan agreed to give USA favours to continue to live and pass its bad-patch. Pakistan did compromise in those times, but they were not corruptions by design.

Musharaf here is an exception, who himself may not have been corrupt but he accepted corruption to exist under his eyes. He was illegitimate and needed internal and international approval to continue to chair. If you are blaming him, you are blaming him together with me. One rotten apple destroys thousands, but existence of one bad apple doesn't mean every apple is rotten by design.
