I am not supporting Iran at all here just asking a simple question. If they can handle war without us then how do we have any opportunity in this to gain from?

Why would they give us anything if they already have everything to win the war?

I back my nation and it's people irrespective of who the direct beneficiaries are.....for me my national interest outweighs all other people's interest and affiliations.


But I really would avoid war if possible not to make Iran happy but simply coz it is far and miscalculations would mean our troops can within mins be left to fend in hell. But then again we need a stable region so I really hope Iran and Saudi sort their shit this century or I swear I will pray for both destruction this ramadan simply coz they aren't letting us the remaining of the planet live in peace and that mind you falls under mischief and even Allah's wrath is on mischievous people!!!

Like when question arises about sending our solders to Yemen majority even thinktank enormously said we should never sent our solders to fight other war.

Actually it you who has disappointed me. You talked about east India company and where are British today after invading the whole world reduced back to an island still fighting for their own identity in form of Brexit lol.

You started the thread now please tell me why are we needed in Yemen? There is no oil there for us to extract. There is no stratigic value there for us to be there so why?

Countries which are fighting in Yemen have their own army and weapons so why will they pay us or give us anything?

I would suggest rather we should go to Libya at least there is oil and gold there.

Conclusion . 1. Pakistan army has its own conflict analysis wing, which review foreign countries request for restive zone . (they rejected Yemen war).
2. Pakistan army at war since 1979. Due to budget crisis we have shortage of equipment and trained officers .
3. Recent Osma - Attaboad fiasco has badly demoralized the armed forces and nation in international arena.
4.From last few years Army duties are expended due to CPEC project.
5.The most serious threat started from India when they launch state spornsored constant terrorist acts inside Pakistan.
6. Our political parties keep on targeting armed forces for interference in politics or giving covers to terrorist groups under UN sacntions.

Completely agree We could play a mediator role but if war starts between GCC/USA vs Iran where should Pakistan stand neutral or back channel negotiation to cooldown.
