If you reduce the range of the missile, warhead dispersion will consequently be reduced and will inevitably fall on the same target.

Fact is that its all about the altitude to which a missile can go that determines how far away different targets an MIRV can hit and though range of a ballistic missile is also related to the altitude it can go. Secondly its not about the time but the trajectory different warhead follow after dispersion and what if each warhead has got its own booster and course correction? Third, MIRV in existence were basically put on already available ICBM with little modification as per need of the country and in our case we have no desire yet to hit any country beyond Asia so that is why our MIRV is based on Shaheen series missiles.Fourth, can U plz quote any hard and fast rule that dictates what altitude an MIRV should go to be able to successfully release multiple warheads? Fifth and final what if Ababeel is meant to hit targets in close vicinity so that even if enemy BMD system is able to take on one of two warheads, still there are warheads on loose which wud play havoc with anything on ground?
