The 2022 midterms were symbolic as the conservative media outlets honed in on family values and went straight for inflation, trans issues, and crime. Urbanisation in Pakistan is having a very negative affect because if your identity isn't strong you get drowned out by the globalised liberal culture - which is what you see in Lahore-Karachi- and partly Islamabad

I find the most white-washed people in Pakistan are typically elite class Muhajirs (various peoples who immigrated from India) and elite class Sindhis.

Lahoris seem a little less obsessed with learning perfect English. They are more into culture.
